Good luck with it all.

She is a lot more expensive than other doctors. But I would not have went anywhere else. Go to weightlossforever.ca and they will help you every step of the way. The staples that this surgery require are 3500 alone. So when a doctor is only charging 4500-5000. You kinda wonder if they are using the right equipment.

Dr. Pompa is the best surgeon out there. I had my surgery mar 27. And I am down 51 pounds. That includes pre op. She is wonderful and so is her team. -
Where did you add me. I'm new to this site and have no idea how it works. Lol

3 weeks post op--having trouble eating enough

Wow I can't believe you can eat soft foods at three weeks. I wish I was able too. My post op diet is 3 weeks clear fluids, 3 weeks full fluids and then two weeks of soft foods. I'm not even allowed protein shakes til 5 weeks out. It's so weird how every doctor has a different post op plan. You would think it would be the same for everyone seeing how it's the same surgery and all. -
No I was one of the lucky ones. Never had gas pain at all. My surgery was 2 pm. They had me up walking 8 hours later. The more u walk the better, for the gas and blood clots. I heard of gas x strips works well. But I never had to use them personally.

I know she is expensive. But we are suppose to have titanium staples in our sleeve and they cost almost 4 grand. So I wondered why everyone else is so cheap. But I know her practice is a private one so maybe that's why. But I would not have went anywhere else. I felt very safe and comfortable the moment I stepped into her clinic.

Lol. Sent it to fast. As I was saying. The staff are awesome and their English is not bad. I understood them fine and they understood what I wanted. I had hardly any pain and now I'm down 17 pounds since surgery two weeks ago. I would highly recommend them and I can't wait to go back and get my plastics with the doc there. Let me know If there is anything Else u wanna know. Take care and good luck
