Hi, my name is Bre. I found Bariatric Pal by looking on my phone's app store under "gastric sleeve." I'm now post-op and very happy with my results. :D I'm excited and nervous, but definitely more excited for the changes that are still to come. I hope to find people who have run into the same problems or hang-ups I may run into and also people who share their progress to gain motivation for myself (and maybe even motivate others eventually).

On a more personal note, I've enjoyed doing many things throughout my life so far (I'm 24), but I feel as if everything has tapered off and I'm down to going to work and coming home and just being tired. For that reason, and the back surgery I had to have late last year (2013), I have come to the conclusion that wls is the best option for me. I love to lift weights, love dogs (me and my mom have 7 combined), diy projects around the house, refinishing wood furniture, old muscle cars (have an El Camino B)), and learning new things. I am quite shy, but I do hope to gain more self-confidence as I feel better in my own skin.
