Thank you all for all the concern...I've been good I went home and told my sister I was going to eat, but she gave me this look...and reminded me, it was only an hour or so until bed...So I made a Protein shake ...then took a shower. The next day was so much better! ONLY 6 MORE DAYS TO GO

We are starting the countdown! 10 days from today I will be banded! My Dr must be really strick because I'm practically on a liquid diet from here on out...I do get 1 sm meal a day (smart ones or similar). I totally binged all weekend, saying goodbye to the overly full feeling...it was really good...I had lasagna on Sat...ribs on Sun....everything was so wonderful! But to tell you the truth...it feels even better to know I've started down a new path. I'm ready....Now I need to get my ticker and I'll be set!

Hi Krystal... We here truely understand the battle you have with food...and the desire to to better. It doesn't matter what weight you start at. It only matters that you are starting the journey. We are here to listen, understand and praise you...and sometimes to scold you ( I've seen it done) when you need it.... We are blessed to have this new beginning. Just think what a joy it will be to run and play with your daughter... She will never remember you big... She will never have the issues you have with food...and in the long run you will learn to be on the outside what you are in the inside.

I think we need to bump the pb question and make it a main one on our board. Everyone seems to have that question.

Thank you all for the support yesterday. I was going through food withdraws. I went home, ready to cheat, but my sister was there and reminded me it was only a few hours until bed and I could make it...I then drank a zone drink (which the chocolate I give 3 thumbs up to), took a shower and went to bed....I was so proud of myself.... Yeah...I love nutritionist too...This is what a portion should look like Instead of eating like you have for the last 25 years...Why don't you cut that down into half and you'll start loosing weight....I swear! If I had that kind of control over myself, I wouldn't be in this situation!

Maybe it would be benificial to get ins with a co that will pay...pay for a few months, then apply for the band again

I had the best skinny dream...It was two days before my ins approved me...I dreamt I woke up, went into the bathroom. I lifted my shirt and looked into the mirror and I had a beautiful flat belly...I thought "Wow! this is the best diet!" but then I couldn't remember what diet I was on. Aileena To be banded 05/26

I've told my family (no extended family) and a couple of friends. I was talking to one of my friends when someone overheard. He asked why I was going into surgery and I told him. He was very supportive. I think I'm not going to advertise my band to strangers but I will tell if I'm asked. Do you think this is a good plan? Aileena To be banded 05/26

My name is Aileena, I have my surgery schedule on the 26th of this month...It happened really fast I'm not sure exactly what to think about it. I am very excited! I feel like finally will not have to fight with my body all the time...Maybe this can help me become more normal...Did you feel this way?

As everyday passes I'm getting more and more excited. I think when I was first approved I almost didn't believe it...It was as if I was affraid they would say that they were mistaken and my insurance would not pay for it. I really just want to take of this part of me...I've been struggling so long with my weight. I love the idea of feeling full... and being normal
