I had surgery on jan 20/14 and all went well. I have been sipping and taking it easy but I still can't really drink or eat anything without throwing up massively. When I do try I get that lump in my chest then really bad pain and then my body can't take it and up everything comes. I am soooooo thirsty and dry, I just want something to stay down. I am dairy intolerant so it's harder to find things to eat. I can kinda handle warm tea, Jello, ice tea and some plain Soup crackers but that's about it. I am wondering if anyone else has been in this boat and if it goes away and what things I can do to ease the pain and help my body get back on track so I don't end up in the ER on IV. Help.... Ps, I've tried Protein shakes, mushed up banana, soft eggs and apple sauce but nothing stays down.

I do have acid reflux meds and some gravel that has helped a bit but I am at a point that I just don't want to eat or drink. I know I have to.

When I do throw up its like egg whites or white foam. I have a Dr appt on the 26 of Jan and will make sure I ask her about it. I just want to drink water as I love love water but I find that's the worst to drink.
