Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is Maggie and I am scheduled to have my VSG on April 3, 2014. I have thought about this for years, but have finally made the decision to do it. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am just so tired of the YOYO syndrome. I am taking this time pre-op to research everything that I can about it. I think the more prepared I am the better things will be. The biggest question that I have is this: I have read that you will not be "hungry" due to a decrease in the hunger hormone post surgery. I want to know if this is true. Thanks everyone! I look forward the start of this journey! So excited to have finally made a decision to move forward. :)
