Me too. I had my gallbladder removed on the 11th of last month. I'm tired of weight health related issues. It sucks. Good luck. I hope all works out well for you!

Congratulations! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Thank you for posting such a positive statement for all of us yet to have our surgery! I know there's chances of complications and not everyone has smooth sailing but you have given me hope none the less! -
You can do this! Focus on the end result! I'm in the middle of my pre op 6 months wait. July is my surgery month. No room for failure. I'm all in. But if a slip up happens we have to get right back up and give it all we have! There's so many wonderful people on here sharing information no doctor could ever give us. They have had 1st hand experiences with all that we are currently going through and those yet to come! I'm on here what seems non stop trying to absorb all that I can. Good luck with your journey.

I know, you're right! My lowest was 135lbs. (The Halloween pic with my son just about 4 years ago) and the highest was 220lbs. I'm at 209lbs right now. I feel like a failure so bad. I want out of this body! Thank you, I hope surgery is a success in July too! How about you, where are you in your journey?

Wow incredible. That is such a perfect song. The words strike so much emotion and hit home for us. You have done an incredible job staying focused and accomplishing fabulous results! ♡♡♡ how are you feeling? I'm due in July to be sleeved. I'm 5ft4" -and 210 today. I'm hoping to be 199 or under surgery day and by Christmas I would love to be at least 50lbs lighter. Any advice from you would be great. What to eat. Activities exercises. Anything you feel like sharing. Thanks for the motivational flipagram! -
Fabulous! That is so awesome. I'm due in July to be sleeved. Cannot wait!

I am approximately 70lbs away from a normal bmi. I'm having surgery in July and I am at 207lbs. It goes up to 214 then down to 205. I'm hoping by surgery I can be at 199. Before the final weigh in and approval from insurance I cannot drop below 205 or I'll be under the 40bmi required for surgery. When I get my date for surgery I am going to be so excited. It still seems so far away. My ultimate goal would be to reach 125lbs. But I feel I start to look good about 140lbs. Here's to much success to everyone and to July hurrying up to get here already!

Been waiting since late February. Jumping through numerous hoops to get to the beginning of my new life. So many emotions and thoughts. I've read everything asked everyone who's done it all of my questions and watched so many YouTube videos! A little bit left to go until July! Hope time flies because I am ready!

First thing you're gonna do when you reach goal

I'm going to go to the water park in Vegas in a cute bathing suit! I can't wait to be able to walk around in a suit in public and not feel the way I do now! A shopping spree is also in the plans. New clothes that I'd never wear today! -
How long are you out now?

I hear ya. The simplest things that cause our bodies to ache because of the extra weight we carry will be awesome to be able to do when it doesn't hurt to do it anymore. -
That's great to hear

Goodnight everyone when we wake up we are all one step closer. To surgery or our goal . Whatever it is for you I wish you all the best!

Way to go! I'm in July. Excited but nervous
-
I don't have an exact date yet but my 6 months will be up in July! They say final approval from insurance takes no longer than 2 wks from the last visit then surgery is scheduled. I've been drinking tons of Water. Cut out coffee. Quit smoking last October. But my bmi is right on 40 so I can't really diet too much. After I get the final approval and surgery date I plan on dieting for those two weeks. Like drinking Protein drinks and eating lean meats. They said I was too small for a pre op diet but I want to kind of be used to small meals and drinking a lot. Until then im trying to make better choices when there's an option. Yayyyy. I won't have a date for a little while yet. Congrats!

what is the real reason I became obese?
jdillon replied to leeann71's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
For me if I'm being completely honest I think I feel it's all I have to offer people to like me. I'm a really good cook and often make stuff for work and family and host every holiday. And other times i'm not feeling good physically and I search for something to go in my mouth that stops that feeling. -

I want tinker bell . The image of her seeing her reflection for the first time. -
Every time I ask a question should I be doing________(whatever) they tell me I'm not big enough. Like at my last appointment I asked will I be doing a liquid diet a week or so before surgery? Response" you're not big enough" once I get my final weigh in submitted to insurance and they approve me I am going to do a week long liquids diet. At least a few days. Im border line bmi right at 40bmi. I want to have an easier surgery and recovery and from what I've read it seems like those who do a pre op diet fair better in recovery process. What do you all think?

This year all of our savings went to the irs blssssst. In July I get my surgery and by February next year I'm hoping we will be in good shape for a vacation and that I will have the body to wear cute shorts and suits and we are talking about a cruise!
