My boyfriend and I have sex like rabbits, after surgery how long until I can get it in? What about "servicing him?" Lol I don't want to be too personal, but we are grown ups right? What happens if you gag? Will it cause slippage? Scared, Tomika

Have been struggling with my weight since the age of 13, I had tried many things to lose weight many diets some more successful than others. Moving to Texas and finding out that, here my insurance covers the procedure, I decided to look into having the surgery. Now that I have been approved by the doctor, I super excited to get healthy and stay healthy, and I am glad that I didn't wait til I was 50 or super BBW to do it. Does anyone have experience with true results? Anyone in the southwest Houston area?

Was banded April 3rd, and since then my cycle started waaaaay earlier than scheduled date, also my ph balance isn't balanced... Wth do I do? I scheduled a gyn tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone else experienced this issue?

My band date is 4/3/2014 and I am super excited, even a little nervous. I can barely sleep at night. I am supposed to. Officially start my two week pre op diet on March 20, but I've been following it for a little over a week now. Today I actually had the worse sugar craving ever... I gave in too. Anyone else have these moments?

I have lost a total since surgery of 15lbs. My surgery was April 3rd. I have gone from 306 to 257 in a year's time, I am just worried that it's been two weeks and no weight gone. But my clothes are falling off my behind. Lol. Thanks guys!

Call and ask your dr. But when you go for your fill you will fill out a form describing your level of hunger. -
I need to get it together and put it to use as well. I just decided to start walking on my lunch break since I cannot eat on it, I will just drink Protein shakes because I only have a 30 minute lunch and that's not enough time to eat. Monday I ended up trying to eat in that time frame and food got stuck. When I got my fill it did hurt, she numbed it but she couldn't find my port, then I see people on here talking about a machine they use at there office so they can see. Mine didn't use such a machine... I want to see this in action. My schedule is to go back every three weeks for the first two fills then every 4 weeks once I am at the right fill level.

I had my surgery on April 3rd and my first fill on April 25, man when they say only liquids on a fill day, that is all I will have from now on. It was midnight and I ate two green Beans and slither of chicken...STUCK food it was the worst feeling ever. It's painful, you cannot breath, your mouth is watery, and you experience slim. I have learned my lesson, I'll never experience that again..... Tomika

50 lbs??? That's awesome, man I need to step up my game.
-
Red storm, One minute...or smaller bites. It truly depends on the meal. But the timer is for one full minute.
-
Try not to have food on your stomach... They like for your belly to be empty. I wish they would have told me that before my first fill, although it wasn't a big deal.

Looking for a Houston, texas group

Some of these post are a year past dated, I was banded April 3, 2014 by Dr. Reilly. Is there a support group that is currently active in Houston? -
Oh yes, I have learned. I am now using my timer they gave me, it's hard because I am also taking smaller bites, so sometimes I swallow before the time has lapsed.
-
Week 4, this week. I have a timer for chews then swallow. I went back to soft food though, because of last night. I had baby food this am and eggs. I am telling you it was the worst feeling ever.

Congrats Christine!
