When I go for my fill I am going to speak with them because I have fiber and miralax...and nothing. Like once every 3 or 4 days. And it's forever for nothing

I was banded April 3, some days I am really hungry some I am not. My biggest thing is not being able to use the restroom....no one told me about that. I am also retaining fluid in my legs, which is normal for me, but my body won't release it, so I am taking on OTC waterpill until I can get to the doctor tomorrow. I lost 10 lbs post op and 15 lbs post op so far. My first full is this Friday. I'd love to get in the gym, but 30 min of cardio isn't worth the drive.

Not so much... I am doing a lot better now. Mushy wasn't that bad, it was weird to blend my chicken, and it did change the taste of the food.

Know there are April banders out there, why is our month so empty? I was banded April 3, 2014 three days later I feel fine, just tired off and on, I am tired of these gas pains and falling asleep randomly. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Tomika

Good to hear that you're doing well. I don't even know where my port is located.

That's horrible. I got to eat one small meal, and I ended up cheating, eating popcorn instead....not a huge cheat, but not the best idea.

Happy belated birthday! You may want to try to ween yourself from the sod now because believe me, you're not going to want to drink that after surgery. Keep up the good work on your pre op diet.

Today is day for me, I feel better, I have gas pains when I walk up my stairs to my apartment, it's horrible. However last night was the first time I was able to sleep in my bed, which was awesome because I've been sleeping on my couch.

I am trying... I just realized my grammar was all messed up, I blame that on the pain medicine.

I do not drink carbonated drinks. It's just all apart of the procedure.

I am watching my hair, I take biotin as apart of my daily regime. As we speak I am deep conditioning my hair, then I am going to do a protective style on it.

The gas pains suck....it's hard to take deep breathes, and I live on the second floor...

I am a natural fury girl as well. I have been perm free for four years. It wasn't til this last year I learned how to grow thicker longer hair. As for my band, I was banded April 3rd, 214. So far everything is great,except this gas pain... Tomika

I was told not to chew gum because it builds up extra gas in the tummy and that will cause gas pains....

Kimk and cccv4, you all will be ok, I usually tell people the story of my parents, when the tell me they are having trouble conceiving. My mother told me that her my dad tried for 3 years to get pregnant, one day in their drunken stuper, I was conceived. When they stopped stressing over it God et happen he wanted it to happen. And my parents were young, it will happen in due time. Tomika Btw I had my surgery today, I feel awesome. The gas pain in my shoulders are killer.

Ccv4, I understand. It's even more relevant to me now that my child is 11. She wants to do things that make me tired. Lol I have to get this weight off.

cccv4, welcome mad good luck! So you can only have shakes all day? Today I was tested, I went out to dinner with my friend and daughter and while they indulged in delicious looking food, I munched on celery and waited for my light choice steak meal to come. It was well worth the wait. I really want popcorn right now.
