    Two weeks post op

I have read lots of posts on this site about the week three stall...just type that in the search area and you can read lots of posts about it. I was sleeved 2/26 so I am at week two. I hope not to have a big stall starting next week but if I do I know it happens a lot. The weight will come off ....it just your body adjusting to everything! Good luck!
  2. Hey Amy, I was sleeved on the same day as you and I went out to lunch with my husband on Thursday with no problem. I just had tomato basil bisque and a little taste of spinach artichoke dip. Everything went down just fine and it was great to be "socializing" again! My husband was more worried about us eating out but I enjoyed it! I just didn't make a big deal out of it and ordered what I knew I could eat.
  3. I'm a RN and while low grade temps can be normal post op, when combined with flu like symptoms and breathing difficulties you need to contact your doctor just to make sure you aren't getting a pneumonia!! It's always better to be safe and see your doctor!! He or she wants you to have a good outcome from your surgery and we all want that for you too!

  5. Has anyone tried the Emergen C powders? They are a vitamin blend but they are a little fuzzy. I drink them now and find they give me energy and support my immune system. Thanks for the info!

  8. I am scheduled for 2/26 next Wednesday and am not so much nervous about the surgery as I am nervous about what my life will be like afterward. I have never been thin but I think with the surgery I will be. That makes me wonder what I will be like as a thin person?? Did anyone else ever feel this way?

    Fear of Failure

I feel the same way! I am scheduled for the sleeve on 2/26/14...just 9 days from now. My surgeon wrote a book called my skinny jeans at last and he said in it to stay focused all the time...whatever it takes. Support groups like this help I think

PatchAid Vitamin Patches
