You know Frangi though, she said the pain was worse but still sounded wonderful!! The woman truly amazes me. :w00t:

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with Frangi. Of course you know she is doing wonderfully!! She said this one is more painful than the last but she sounded terrific! She went into surgery at about 9AM and woke up in recovery at 3PM. It took a bit longer than estimated but I am sure the results will be well worth it!! I will keep everyone updated the MINUTE I hear from her in a day or two.

Hi Frangi - I'm getting ready to go to bed. I have to be up early tomorrow to be in our Trenton district. Gee, right by Stein Mart :crying:!! This trip is for you!! Can't wait to hear from you! Great big hugs all around!

Frangi - You are truly amazing!! Up that early for a last chance workout. That is why you are the Biggest Loser and recover from surgery so well!!:biggrin:

Becky, What a wonderful post. A New Year's Resolution in August. I love it!! My second year I will make goal! So, to do this I need to also eat properly 90% of the time and get the exercise up to 5 days a week. I am joining a gym with my girlfriend. My DS goes there also. He said he will work with me on strength training. I need to drive consistency into my banded life now. Make the commitment and stick with it for life!!

Frangi - I still have all the hospital info. I hope you are in Miami by now!! I look forward to your call. Of course you will be in my thoughts!!!

Frangi - you always make my day when I need it most!:cursing::biggrin: That store happens to be right in the mall by me. I went and bought the most beautiful clothes too. They are a bit tight so I MUST work to get the proper fit. That is great incentive!! Karey - I can't comment much because I am not up on the subject but I really do keep you in my thoughts. I hope everything works out the way you want it too.:smile:

Karey - I agree with Becky. Our loved ones do not want to see us suffer. Nor do they want to worry about us during surgery. They can't imagine how you feel and why you would want to have surgery. Please let us know where your thread will be. Best of luck always!!

Thanks Judi. My bandiversary is August 27th. I am having a party on August 23rd and it should prove quite interesting!!

Maggie, I am trying to get DH to take more trips on the bike. We have 2 teenage sons so it makes it hard for overnighters. I will definitely let you know if we are up that way!!:w00t:

My sentiments exactly Judi!! For some of us we are only half way there and still need A LOT of support. I hope everyone starts talking it up. I for one need all the support I can get. I am hoping the 2nd year will be even more successful for me!!:wink_smile::biggrin::thumbup:

Frangi - I was looking into this as you were posting. I agree with your decision 100%. Look at the curves you have added to the "front" of you. I would absolutely have the same thing done if I were in your position (which I hope to be next year!). I have a flat butt to begin with and would to add a bit of life to it!! You are having surgery a day before my lapband anniversary!! Let me know if you would like me to post again for you.:cry_smile:

4.5 mile walk today and headed to yoga/pilates tonight!

Count me in for 5 days a week cardio and 2 days of strength training. Today was a 4.5 mile walk.
