    I just finished 4.5 miles with my weights. Thanks to Becky's before and after pics I went downstairs with my son and did a full weight training session!! I still don't like it but I think I will like the results!!!

    Becky, OMG!!! As Judi said you were beautiful before but look at you now!! Hubby better behave himself. You will have a line at the door looking to take his place!! You are truly inspiring. When I saw this I actually had my son weight train with me.

    March Exercise Challenge

    Hi everyone! Took the Yoga class today to stretch and do something calm. I still have a long way to go to be able to do all those moves! Thanks for all the thoughts. We are moving along with the insurance companies now. What an ordeal!

    All of our friends and family came today and cleaned up the mess. Hopefully the insurance company will pay us quickly. To get out and destress I actually did my 6 mile mountain trek today. It actually helped me work out some anger!!

    Oh my...We had bad storms today in North New Jersey and the large pine tree in our yard fell on my hubby's truck, my son's car and my company car. It is amazing who showed up from the fire department, EMS and the Mayor. What a tole it takes on you....

  14. Hi JudiM, I read your blog too. I love it! Talk about a slow learner...I had surgery 8/27/07 and only had my 2nd fill on 2/12/08 due to Dr rules and insurance rules and I finally PB'd!! I just now have restriction so I feel like I have just been banded! I am in the experimental phase with food. Some things work and some things don't. I do know that the scale is working the right way now though!! Again, great job on your blog!

    We have a gym at our Corporate location and I took the yoga class today. It was a lot of fun. Boy, am I a klutz!! I even saw the instructor giggle once! Its a nice thing to do when my legs have had it!

    Steady Losers 4ever!

    Hi everyone!! I am looking for a thread that I will fit in to. I would love to join Steady Losers!! I was banded on 8/27/07. My fills were 11/29 4.8CC and 2/12 1.8CC. I am walking my butt off (literally) and starting to benefit from a decent fill. I am working hard toward being a steady loser!!

    Thanks ShortGal. The weird thing is I am not overeating. Some days I would have an 800 cal intake which I know is too low so I started working on taking in more protein. I watched the Biggest Loser last night and you are right. I started weight training this week so we will see in another month. Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it!!:thumbup:

    March Exercise Challenge

    Hi everyone, I just finished a 3.5 mile walk on the mountain. It started pouring! I added 3 lb walking weights and what a difference they made. I want to really work on my arms. Its amazing the inches I have lost on them already with just walking. Have a great day!

    Slow Losers Unite!

    Hi everyone, I just weighed myself. Of course I was devasted. I have lost 3.4 lbs since 2/24/08. That was the last day I weighed myself. In total I did lose 8 lbs from 2/5 to 3/5. They did say 1-2 lbs per week right? I walk so much that inches are falling off a lot quicker than the weight. Well, I am off for my 4 mile walk. Can't give up! I think I will start weighing in monthly. What do you do?

    WOW Becky! You're my hero!! Congratulations!:shades_smile: I did 1 hour on the treadmill and 1 upper body strength training session. I guess I will learn to like that more as I get stronger. It was tough.

    Hi everyone! It seems that my restriction is fading a bit. :shades_smile: Is that normal? I had a fill on 2/12. I am attending a banding class tomorrow for my checkup after the fill. Banded patients all talk to each other and share experiences. Sounds good. I also have started picking at night and right when I get home from work. I will have to shoot out the door to walk quicker! I am actually going to get on the scale tomorrow morning. :ohmy::ohmy: I know I have unrealistic expectations of what I should lose. Does anyone else share the fear or am I the only one?

    I did my 4 mile walk today. Hope to get some weight training in tomorrow night. Nana, I did just that to start walking. I started small and worked my up. I also increased my speed. It takes awhile because you don't want any injuries. Good luck!
