I logged in today with 940. I need to do better. I had a bit of wine yesterday for my birthday which made me feel a bit under the weather today. I will do my 1000 tomorrow!!!

Becky, I know from experience that it is tough. I lost both my parents very young but went through the care giver stage. Hang in there and remember that the hour or so you need for your exercise will not make or break them. They must be so proud of you!!!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!! I am truly blessed with hubby. He is everything and more. The best birthday gift was the 2.4 lb loss I saw on the scale!! Holy crap! Could I finally be getting the hang of this 8 months later??? I will update the ticker on Monday when I officially weigh in. My DS17 did strength training with me tonight. It was amazing how much interest he showed. I am floating on cloud nine right now hoping I have found my way like my fellow Crazy Ates!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Salsa!! I took my 4.5 mile walk today. It is my 46th birthday. I had a pedicure and my nails done AFTER my walk. Boy, have my priorities changed!! Hubby bought me a beautiful jewelry amoiur (spelling). Believe it or not from running around I won't make my calories but at least I am not over!!!

They give this class at Spa 23 in Pompton Plains, NJ!!!!!!! They told me it was the best exercise I will ever get! Hubby offered to pay but I declined.:wink_smile::redface:

I posted faithfully today. I checked our WalMart for it and they didn't carry it. I also couldn't find the Instant Breakfast. I think everyone buys it all out before I get there!!

I logged yesterday Pizzi and found that I too was taking in too many carbs. I tried to find the low carb slim fast like Becky uses but can't find it. I ordered it online. I did buy the high protein slim fast though. I really need the calories. Started logging already today. Did good with water yesterday too.

I was a faithful logger yesterday and already started today. From eating the proper amount of calories I have already lost 1.2 pounds since Friday. Hopefully now I will see some steady weight loss. I am excited!!!:cursing::biggrin:

OK - I have logged faithfully every day since Pizzi posted the thread. Today a former banded buddy (her band slipped) came over and she is a nurse. She knows how much exercise I get and was amazed that the scale doesn't move. I showed her my logs. I got told for the first time in my life I AM NOT EATING ENOUGH!!!!! I need to take in at least 1000 calories a day at a minimum. I have stalled my metabolism. I know I have felt tired lately too. So, I will try my best to accomplish this for a whole week being obsessive and hopefully get a good number next week! Thanks for this thread Pizzi! It certainly saved me!!!

I need to do this for the nutritionist also. She wants to see what I am eating to see if we can tweak it so I lose more on the scale. Once I turned 45, losing weight has become really slow for me.

I finished my 4.5 mile walk and a strength training session. I really do not like strength training so I must build it in twice a week. I know I will like it when it starts to work!! Off to the first aid squad. I am on duty tonight.

Pizzi, I am logging faithfully today. Seeing Becky's ticker inspired me to try harder. As a matter of fact, I didn't eat the Girl Scout cookie I was eyeing up after reading her post on being close to goal. I am going to log everyday!
