I am very excited and glad I got banded. I have lost about 10-12 pounds and I am very happy with that. I will go for a fill soon, though, because I feel like I could be restricted a bit more.
I have completely changed my eating habits. I eat mostly chicken and fish. I eat very very little carbohydrates. I have lots of vegetables and fruit and I really feel great. I am told I will likely lose about half of the amount I'm overweight, i.e. 50lbs. That would be fine with me. I just got my red belt in Tae kwon do and I can't wait to get back to class and start my training for my blackbelt. I'm going to be 51 y.o. in a few weeks.
