I am a year and a half out and have lost 80 pounds of the 120 i needed to lose. Can't seem to budge the last 40. Went from a size 20 to a 12/14 Would I do it again? No way!! I know I am in the minority when I say that.

I worote that last September, lol. Thursday don't work anymore because we are back in Scouts now. How about on a Monday. Monday February 2nd?

I was banded 13 months ago. I have had no weight gain at all in those 13 months. I do have months when it is slower but not weight gain. I absolutley hate not being able to get food down and I am going to get a small unfill. I know how to eat or I would have gained. My after care has not been the best.

I have to say I am probably in the minority but I hate the band. I mean I truly hate this thing. I have no sweet spot, it is to loose or to tight. I can not eat meat of any kind as it will get stuck. I could never eat a salad or raw vegetables. I have lost 77 pounds but I do not eat so I feel like I should have lost more than that. If I could go back, I would not have had this done. I know everybodies experiences are different but so far this journey sucks. Anyone else feel like this?

I have an impossible time eating. I can not eat meat, bread or rice and pasta is very tricky. I can not eat raw vegetables so a salad is out of the question. I have to eat every 2 hours or I get very shaky. Needless to say I am more aware of food now than I have ever been. I carry food with me at all times. I eat the same thing everyday because I know what works and what I can get down. If I get something stuck, it is so very painful and will take at least an hour to go down or come up. That usually gives me a panic attack, I have had the life squad at my house more than once. I know this experience is different for everyone so I wish you better luck.

Good Luck to you. I like Dr. Kerlakian alot, he has great bedside manner. Maria, the nutritionist seems a little airheaded to me. I only saw her twice because I never felt comfortable with her. I am 13 months out and 75 pounds lighter and down 4 sizes, If you asked me would I do it again, I would have to say I am in the minority and I would say knowing everything I know now, I would not do it again.
