I have about 4 boxes of slim fast low carb protein shakes and one bag of vanilla womans whey from gnc. I can not use either of them because this whole weight loss process has made me lactose intolerant. Can anyone use any of these? I will bring them with me. I have so many clothes to share - size 18-20 that I will have to leave them in the car and anyone who is interested can rumage thru them!! I have both winter and sumer items in that size. Since I have to pass the outlet mall on my way up there, I may take a detour!! See you all tomorrow!! Christine

This must be a recent feeling for him because he has been nothing but wonderful and supportive to me. I saw him monday for a slight unfil and he listens to me. He asked me how much i wanted taken out because I know my body. He said you look wonderful and your doing great keep up the good work and remember I am here if you need me. I definately love him!! i so totally understand the reasons behind the pictures. I think it is a great tool to use but for me I am not sure I will ever be comfortable in front of a camera. I hope so.

I am not doing during photos and no one can convince me that it is a good idea. I really hate having pictures taken of myself, it is awful!! I have lost 57 pounds and I still can not wrap my head around the changes my body has gone thru. Hopefully I will be able to soon! Christine

Dr Kerlakian is my doctor too I just saw him yesterday. He is a great guy but he sets realistic expectations. I had my surgery done in september and I have lost 51 pounds so far. Don't get discouraged, it works. It is not an easy road but it is so worth it in the end. I still have about 50 pouinds to go but even if i did not loose one more pound i would be happy.

I need 8 pound off to be under 200 and 17 to be "overweight" instead of obese. It is so clo but feels so far. I am suffering right now because I got a fill Friday and I am wayyyy to tight. I am going back for a slight unfill today. Good luck eveyone.

Mine would not have performed the surgery without a support person there, he would have sent me home. You may want to ask these questions.

I am so suprised the doctor isn't making you take a support person to the hospital with you. Mine did.

I can offer you a place to stay and some tlc after your surgery!! I work during the day but you could have some peace and quit and rest. What hospital are you having surgery at? I would be more than happy to help you out. Christine

When i had mine i need to lose 95. The doctor told me to expect 60 percent weight loss but if i was dedicated i could get all 95 off. I had my operation in sept and i have lost 51 so far. I'd see another doctor if I were you.

I am looking forward to actually knowing people in my same situation. you can talk to your DH until your blue in the face but he can never really understand the feelings that go along with having this band.

Oh my For all of you who are serious about quitting. Please get your chantix. I was a smoker for 22 years. As of January 17 I am 1 year smoke free thanks to Chantix. I had no side effects from Chantix. NONE.

I can not do bread in anyway shape or form. I can not eat rice. I can not eat meat. No meat at all. It will not go down. Sometimes I wonder if this is the stupidest thing I have ever done to loose weight. I have lost 50 pounds since sept but food is more of a struggle now then it was before. I am always conscience that the band is present and that my life revolves around food. Hopefully it will get better.

I have alot of capris in size 18 if your interested, for when you make it there in the summer time. I started in a size 20 so a size 16 is feeling pretty good.

I am planning on coming to the meeting to meet everyone. It would be nice to know someone else in my situation! I have a box of size 18 clothes. Can anyone use size 18? I am finally in a 16 pant, 14/16 top. I don't want to hold onto anything because i never plan to wear them again. So, if anyone can benefit from them then i will bring them with me. I got whistled at going into the grocery store, woohoo! I have lost 50 pounds and have gone down 3 sizes. My husband has commented on my nice curves. I went from a 42dd to a 38d and bought my first and second bra from victorias secret. My shirt tags no longer read 2x they read L that is beyond awesome. I like the woman staring back at me in the mirror. She is curvy and pretty and it sure helps that my husband likes it to!! I didn't realize how much I pushed him away because I had lost confidence in my self. Now its like having an affair with your very own husband.
