I just had a revision on 2/20/15 and I feel great. My band slipped after about 8 months in, but I was almost at my goal. At my sleeve surgery I was 145 lbs and as of today, I'm 135 lbs. I feel good except for the pureed stage diet. I'm not hungry at all. I'm happy I made this choice and grateful to have a doctor who fought the insurance company since my bmi was normal already. I cannot imagine losing my tool after losing all this weight. Good luck to you.

I'm 7 months post op and so far lost 76 lbs. I'm 20 lbs away from my goal. Very happy I made this decision.

Hi all, so today is my six months anniversary and I'm down 67 lbs. My starting weight was 235 lbs and today i weigh 168. I have 3.5 cc in my band and my doctor thinks that i don't need any fill because I'm losing weight and I had some problems when I had 4 cc in my band. I'm very happy with my results and truly recommend this surgery to people who are willing to commit to the rules that come with it. It is not easy but easier than dieting, gaining, living overweight, and not being happy with yourself. I still would like to lose another 30 lbs to reach my goal. Good luck to everyone.

I have been banded since February 18th. So far down 55 lbs. Wish I could exercise more but so busy that by the time I have the time to exercise, I'm too tired. I started at 235 lbs abd as of today, I'm 180 lbs.

I gurgle all the time too after drinking and eating. I don't think it has to do with being too tight because I gurgle after just drinking some water on an empty stomach. I was worried too.

So had my first fill today under fluoro and found out i already had 2 cc's in my band. The doctor put in 2 more and i am at 4 cc now. I had to do barium swallow and wondering if this is why i am so bloated and gassy now. Has anyone had this experience? I am on clear liquids today followed by full liquids for a day or two.

Goal was 200lbs March 1st 218 March 31 211 Did not make my goal but hopefully because i gained muscle from all the working out i did.

You don't have to give up food, you will just have much less of it.

I had my band on 2/18 and i don't have any pain anymore. Are you using your incentive spirometer?

Hello and congrats on your surgery. I am post op day 4 and hardly any gas pain now bit i do feel a little bloated. My port incision is sore though. Good luck to you!

Hi all, well i'm doing well post op day 2. Had my surgery on 2/18. I'm on full liquids right now. Pain is better today but mostly sore when i sit, lay, or get up. Gas is much better today too. It's moving down now so no more shoulder pain which was rough the first day and the next day. Hate my bariatric advantage vitamins because they taste gross. Thanks for everyone's support.

I got banded on 2/18 and only did clear liquids for one day. I am on full liquids now with no problems.

Hello all, I'm new here. My surgery is scheduled for 2/18 and I am shrinking my liver now and stopped my caffeine too. I am a coffee junkie and was wondering if people who love to drink tea could recommend decaf teas that they love and where they buy it. Looking forward to this journey and love to read up on this site. Thank you.

Hello, i'm new to this site and my surgery is on 2/18. I started my pre op diet on Monday and hope to lose some weight before the surgery as well as shrinking that liver. Good luck everyone!
