GREAT NEW SINGLE LOCATION FOR "STALL TALK!"

I love this forum! I going on 5 weeks and I have stalled off and on since week two. The only thing that has helped me move the scale down during a stall is double up on exercise. -
How long were you off work?
-
Would you mind saying about how much a neck lift cost you?
-
I'll try not to weigh every day. I hope this plateau drops soon. Thanks
-
That is exactly what I am doing. I guess our bodies are storing the calories for energy. I have been trying to step up my exercising some but my energy level is not where it should be yet. My dr started me on soft foods this week also. I really have not had much though because I am not hungry either.
-
I know right. Are you on a stand still too. I am getting about 350 to 400 calories a day.
-
Thanks Radale. I am weighing myself every day. It is hard not to. How long did it take you to start losing again and did you do anything different?
-
I had my RNY gastric June 4th. I started my liquid diet two weeks prior. From the start until now I have lost 21 lbs. I only two weeks put from surgery and I have been on a plateau all week. Does this seem normal?
-
I am following all the rules I just wish I was not so tired. How are you doing.
-
Well I made it through the surgery June 4th. I was in the hospital an extra day because I was so nauseous. Now that I am home I am able to keep protein and water down but I am so fatigue. Has anyone else felt that way and what did you do.
-
The first day was tough but it has not been bad now. I have lost 7 pounds so far.

Hello all, I am having surgery June 4th. I am on the 7th day of my pre-op. I work in Omaha and live nearby. I am happy to hear from more from omaha.

Sorry for all the misspelled words. Tough to type sometimes on these phones!

Sorry I have not made any cements lately, I had to resettle password. Well for me I have been on the pre-op diet 7 days now. The first day was pretty tough but it is much easier now. My surgery is June 4th. I am excited and a lite nervous about getting all my protein and water in after.

I got a call saying my surgery is June 4th. I have my last nut appt May 1st. They went ahead and scheduled mine because I have some work schedule issues. I start my pre-op diet May 21st. I am excited to get the weight loss started. I also have a bmi of 35 so for six months I had to stay the same.
-
Hello. I see there are not any current threads. I am 55 and scheduled to have my surgery June 10th. I will start my two week liquids on May 21st. Does anyone know if you can have protein smoothies or does it need to be all liquid?
-
Thanks for the info. I had to complete 6 months seeing a nutr. I am right on the edge of where I won't be covered if I lose any weight. So I have been maintaining the past 4 months. That has been a little nerve racking. I can't lose any or gain Any.
-
I should be having mine in June. I have one more appt after Monday and hope to schedule my surgery. does anyone know if they will go ahead and schedule the surgery while you are waiting for insurance approval?
-
I have tricare standard west and I have to do the 6 months of nut visits and the they pay 80 per after the deductible is met.

Waiting for insurance decision
