So day three was rough!!! I felt like a criminal eating off my four year old's plate today!!! Dinosaur chicken tenders never looked do damn good! So then I walked a mile on my elliptical. Lol. How is everyone else doing tonight!?!

Hey jbyler. There is a thread called, the first 12 weeks." You should read it. It really put me at ease and gave me alittle insight of what's to come. I get that everyone is different but it gave me a chance to mentally prepare myself of what's to come. You need to give yourself more of a chance than three days. Hold onto the reasons why you chose to be sleeved. You are strong and will get through it. The ice is fine on the incisions. My MD said use it as long as you're comfortable doing. It's Aldo good for gas pain on your shoulders. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! And we are all here for each other to vent and complain. Once you finally get on a scale you are going to be so happy!!!

I'm day two and I'm doing ok right now. I really like the EAS. It's only 100 calories and when frosty it goes down easy

So I bought EAS chocolate and it tastes like yoohoo. Not bad. Also bought premiere and it was richer in flavor. I chilled both to the point of frosty chunks and it was pretty good. I also ordered medifast but it doesn't come until Thursday. I'll let you know how it is. How did you do today? Was it your first day?

So first day of the liquid diet is OVER!! I made it! It wasn't so bad but I definitely got a little moody the last hour the kids were still up. Lol. Do I go for my PST tomorrow and the last appt with the surgeon before the big day. Are there any questions I'm forgetting to ask??? Hope everyone else survived the first day (at least those of us with 2weeks!!)

Good for you to acknowledging your issues and knowing you're going to work on them. That in itself is huge.

Hey always...we all have had failures in our lives. It's what brought me to my decision to sleeve. I have 2 kids and hope to succeed for them. I want to be able to be active WITH them. You can always vent here. I am so happy that I found this site for the support that I lack in my life. We are here for each other.

So I have officially started my liquid diet. I've gotten all of my "must haves" out of my system. And truth be told it wasn't that good! I am so ready to see how the next two weeks go!! Preop weight: 277 Let's see what I drop by the 21st.

I just bought EAS, premiere, and muscle milk 100. I start my liquid tomorrow!! I'll let u know which is my fav! I also ordered medifast but it won't come till Thursday.

I heard the same thing. No Advil ever after sleeve. It's really bad for the lining of your stomach.

That really nice! How did you all hook up? I tried to make friends at the one nutritional class that was required but nobody was receptive. It would have been nice bc it was all for the same surgeon and three of them were the same day as me. Anyway. I am going to a bachelorette party tonight. I gotta try to make myself presentable. Of course I've already adopted this feeling of,"great. I'm the only fat girl in our group" but then I realized that won't be the case much longer!! I'm gonna have me some dirty martins and oysters and sushi and kick off my liquid diet right on Monday!!! Have a great night!!

That's so funny. I really think I'm going to have mine too. Should get it the 17th and surgery is the 21st...boo!

Yeah. Me too!! Trying to get to Joe's Crab Shack but I ran outta time!! Lol. And you're right. I didn't feel sad about the food. It was more like "I'll see you later" than "you're out of my life forever" It's time for a change.

That's what I need to invest in! A good blender like the ninja or bullet. I had my food funeral of Chinese today and I was actually a good girl! Had sautéed bok choi, some skewer grilled chicken. Only bad thing was fried crab wontons but they are so dang good I couldn't resist. I ordered my medifast for my pre op on Monday. I never had it so I hope it's good.
