Are you pre or post op?? I am almost 4 days post-op and was told to drink until I was full.

I'm 2 days out and have the same pain. Mine is under my left breast. Don't laugh, but one of my boobs (left one to be exact) is larger than my right. I think it's a combination of air and muscle soreness. Best of luck to ya!

What the HELL am I about to do to myself???? Yeah, yet another one of us at "that stage". Surgery is on Tuesday. Made the mistake of going to the hospital today to pre-register and have the last of my lab tests done. I have a MASSIVE fear of anesthesia. Found out they won't let my hubby in the back with me when they take me into pre-op. Not real thrilled about that. When I left there I was ready to puke. Need wisdom here fast. Trying to be brave and not bail.

I'm a control freak I guess.. relying on someone else to breath for me. Not being in full control of my body. I don't like drugs that alter my mind or conciousness.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had a very interesting and emotionally abusive childhood myself. I think about the only thing you can do is to realize that SHE is the one with the problem and your sister should know better as well. I know it is hard to have someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally treat you like that. And even though you are an adult it still hurts. Perhaps she has some deep psychological problem that has been left untreated? Either way please try to keep your head up high, you are doing the best you can do right now and working toward getting a tool that will change your life. You know in your heart what she did and is doing is wrong. All you can do is protect your daughter and try to bring her up as a strong person with a good self image. Sweetie, you are still full of fluids from surgery. The Iv's added a lot of Fluid to you. This stage is all about healing not losing weight. (((((HUGS)))))

I don't know what to say, I just want to wish you the best and tell you that you need to do what is right for you. I was in a similiar situation about 4 years ago with a guy that was a total loser. I ended up having to go to IRELAND to get away from him for a while because he was such a control freak. He had another girlfriend and was still calling me in Ireland (my mom gave him the #) and bugging me at 2 am. Robert (my ex) lost so many jobs during our "relationship" that I lost count. We only had his truck and he REFUSED to let me drive it even though I paid the insurance, gas and truck payment when he was between jobs. He refused to help mow the yard because he was "allergic to grass" so am I, but it had to be done!! He wasn't an alkie but that was bout his only positive. Try to look at this experience as a learning situation. I believe that God puts us through things for a reason. It may take a while for you to understand why you put up with him for so long, but if you walk away from this situation with the understanding that you learned from it then you didn't totally lose everything. Less than 3 months later I met my hubby. I will say that I learned from my experience. I value my relationship with my husband more and more everyday. We have 110% total trust. I can do anything I want because he knows that I am not going to cheat on him. Life is too short to be unhappy. I hope you find happiness soon!! (((((HUGS))))
