Hi everyone praying everyone is still doing great on there journey. Just wanted to ask some of ya a question and I will tell ya why I am asking it. Are some of ya still having restriction in eating food. I still am some food the dense one I can only eat couple of bites. I know this person who had the surgery about 6 month before me well she gain some of her weight back she ask me how I am keeping my weight off I told her that I can't and even if I could wouldn't over eat. That the surgery was a tool and a journey, that she has to check her intake of food and the kind of food she is eating. Its hard for me to understand how she is able to eat more than 4 oz of food I still can't. Plus I workout 3-4 days a week still working on my water intake.

@@motherof5 that is good to hear you are doing well. I still can't believe this is happening with me with the weight loss. When I look in the mirror how much has changed I am still shock. I weight myself once a week and if I dont lose I dont get upset because the inches are coming off which I am glad of. I have a valentine's ball to go to in February went last year before my journey I was in a size 22 dress. Now drum roll it looks like a size 10/12 I haven't brought the dress yet I am waiting until the first week of February to know what size I will need. I am just happy with the progress so far. Wish you the best in your journey. It hard work but we got this.

    LONGEST. STALL. EVERRRR.

Ok are you allow to get your protein from shakes. If you are you may want to drink your protein then I am 3 month post op. SO I am 13 weeks. I snack twice a day I eat something or drink my protein . In the morning about 6:30-7 am I drink my protein shake or smoothie which will have 30 grams of protein it takes me 45 min to 1 hour to finish it then 30 min to 40 min after I will have a high protein snack like cheese that's only thing my stomach likes then another protein drink lunch since I only eat bite or two. I will have some type of protein like chicken or tuna I only able to eat 1/4 and I am full then at dinner another type of protein chicken tuna or turkey. If I feel I didn't get another protein from food I drink another shake

    LONGEST. STALL. EVERRRR.

Also my calories stay at 600-800 a day. I work out 4 days a week.

    LONGEST. STALL. EVERRRR.

For me it's hard to get it in foods I eat because I am still only eating a bit here and there but I still drink my protein I make my smoothies. I eat lots of string cheeses as my snacks right now I average 90 to 100 grams a day.

    LONGEST. STALL. EVERRRR.

Don't be disappointed you are doing everything your supposed too. Just try to increase your protein to 90 grams. Keep drinking lots of water. You can do it
  19. I had tummy tuck before being sleeved well I don't think mine was worse it depends on your pain level. I was in pain afterwards but walking help a lot. Sleeve on a Monday and I was back at work on Friday. The same week. Congrats on your new journey.
  20. I was given one I use mine for the first time at first I wasn't going to use it I ask the waitress that I wanted to order from the kids menu she told me I couldn't I told her well I had surgery and gave her the card she them said she had to ask the manager, well the manager came back and apologize and said to the waitress this is why the card is given because she can not eat a lot and it was Ok to order from the kids menu. The manager was very nice and was upset that the waitress didn't even take what the card had said. He said he was glad we were there spending money in the place. I have eating out before never had this happen this was the first. I guess even if you tell them you had surgery depends on the place some will just let you then others well make a big deal. But it was good to have the card

@@mskiesha29 yes protein shakes are nasty but for me that is how I get my protein in. It's hard for me to get the protein I need other ways so shake are it for right now and CONGRATS ON being down 6 dress size I would be crying too.

    Changes after sleeve

Since my sleeve my taste bud aren't the same either. I can't drink milk it taste awful I use to love to drink a cup now, I can't. Some food taste different too. I've been sleeved Aug 11, 2014. So I am 2 month post-op I still have to introduce food back but it doesn't taste good so I don't eat it. So don't worry much it will get back to normal.
