Karen Scott it will get better hold on and once you have the surgery it will be worth it. I am 6 day post op I still don't have an appetite still trying to keep liquids down. What been good for me is popsicle it help with liquids and still trying to do protein its hard but getting better. I have lost 12 lb with the pre and post op diet.

Finally I am able to drink what is, require of me. I am 4 day post op been having a hard time drinking fluids. Ok this is what I am doing. I love water but its not agreeing with me crystal light is too sweet now. So what I have is unsweetened cold tea caffeine free to my surprise I can drink that. I am so happy because I have been feeling weak. I was told to start my full liquid yesterday but the protein shake are too sweet so I am going to try to make my requirements for my protein intake but it is hard. How are you all handling this since the surgery?

Hi everyone hopefully the ones that has been sleeved are doing well and the one who is getting sleeve best wish, and be praying for ya. Well let me tell you how I am doing I was sleeved August 11. Wow what an experience first day after was in pain most of it was gas I had a hiatal hernia repair too. So I was in more pain. Was discharged home the next day August 12. I have been trying to keep fluids down but it hard I don't feel hungry so I have to make myself drink. Today is the 15th and I am back at work well I feel better that pain gas pain went away on Wednesday and yesterday I was moving better. So I will see how my day goes. I don't have a hard job so I think it will be ok. I weight myself and I am down 11lb I happy with that. Have a great day

Karen Scott since I had the sleeve on Monday I haven't, had any hunger pain. I have been trying to keep things, down or remember to drink. Today is day 3 post op. You will do fine once u been sleeved best wishes on ur journey

Hi I had my sleeve surgery on August 11. Still sore I have been walking. I have try to drink but its hard I have no taste, buds but I am glad I went through it. I can't wait to see some changes.

Hi everyone how are the ones who was sleeve yesterday and past week. Let me start of sleeve Monday the 11th. After surgery in pain but I was able to handle it plus the nurses were great. Was discharged home on Tuesday. Well trying to sleep I couldn't do well bc I was so sore and couldn't get comfortable. This morning still sore I was told that the doctor repair a hiatal hernia. No gas pain I am glad of it I have been walking lots Hopefully it will be better today. Want to send out prayers to one beening sleeve today and next weeks to come. Remember walk walk and walk. I am glad I went through it even though I am sore and can't, get comfortable.

Hi everyone I made, it just sore today yesterday was awful but the nurses were on top of it the pain. Make sure to walk I did it help a lot. I am being discharge home yay so glad

Hi everyone just want to post about the surgery from yesterday. I came out well I was in pain but the nurses were great they were on top of it. Today I dont have much pain because I walked a lot. I am being discharge now. Best wish to all, getting sleeve this week and today.

You just let them know you are eating healthy and this, isnt a easy way out. You have to keep working on what u eat making better choices in life now. Plus you dont really need to explain anything to them. Best wishes on your weight loss journey.

Hi all I am posting now because I, have been in pain the gas pain are, no, joke, so, walk walk and, more, walking it, really help. I am sipping water. I have been, in and, out, all day, get, to, leave tomorrow. I am so happy, for, this, new, journey. Hi dreamgirl45 the surgery went well I found out I had a hernia repair also didnt know I had one. Yes gas pain is awful. I am so happy right now. I will be leaving, tomorrow. The only thing I am able, to have ice chips and sip on water, until tomorrow morning. I dont have to, do Barium swallow because. I am, glad of that. I am so, happy to, hear, you are doing good. Here it is Aug 11 I didn't sleep well my mind has been on the surgery. I have been praying all night for all the one who is getting sleeved today. All the Aug 11th it is our day for a new beginning.
