Thanks again to all of you who wrote. I found that walking and a heating pad both really helped. It has now been 2-1/2 weeks and I am happy to say that the gas pain has gone. -

Hi, I just had lap band surgery on February 5, 2014. The biggest pain I am having is bloating and gas, for which I am taking gas-x strips. It is pretty painful though, and I was wondering if any of you could share how long this initial gas discomfort lasts?
