  1. Mine started the day of surgery and 14 months later, it is still running...only the right nostril
  2. Good afternoon Chammie, that is normal actually... i went through a tough time at 1st with protein and water intake. I sipped alot of broth and ate alot of popsicles and jello. I drank the chocolate premier protein shakes [2pr day, which is 60g of protein ] I followed my dr instructions to the letter,no cheating and the weight literally melted away. [i didn't start eating foods until 12 wks in actually] You should be able to start walking a treadmill next week...this will help.

    WHY STILL NAUSEOUS

    I had nausea for the 1st 5 months post op...not every day, but a few times per wk. I took the meds religiously and chewed tums ,eventually it faded away

    I am 5'4 and my goal weight was 170, my surgeon said 155...i am currently 165 [with a revised goal of 160]

    Nothing unbearable, I knew of my repair prior to surgery... I experienced a little more nausea and I wasn't able to eat much, but I didn't complain as the scale kept dropping in numbers
