I know that this sounds (odd), but my favorite item is the Vera Bradley travel bag that I purchased SPECIFICALLY for the hospital stay. I am almost finished packing it and I dote over it daily. It is representative of the next chapter of this journey... -

They say that the alcohol is empty calories, it can stall weight loss and promote weight gain. I am not a drinker anyway, so I will not miss that one bit, lol. -

They ask for no make-up or perfume or lotions in effort to preserve the sterile environment in the OR and to reduce the risk of infection via introduction of bacteria ... I say If it makes you feel better and the anesthesiologist does not oppose it.. ROCK ON

Your body(hormonally) may be adjusting to the rapid weight loss. I too have PCOS and my Gynecologist forewarned me that the condition should correct itself as my hormones regulate itself (It can also cause spontaneous ovulation) Contact your pcp or gyne for testing.(blood/pap) Best wishes to you

I know that it may be hard, but the pay off is soooo worth it in the end. I have not tried the BA shakes, but you are not the only person who has stated that the taste is nasty. I am having surgery one day before you and I am excited about this new journey that I have embarked on... Has anyone tried Isopure Protein Drinks?

Although I do not think that they have the best aftertaste, I have tried them with 10oz of water(cutting the taste) and adding 2 squirts of liquid crystal light...I like them MUCH better now. (I've been trying them pre op so that I know what I am in for next week)
