Woo-hoo! I got my surgery date- Dec 11th. Has anyone started to substitute one meal a day with Protein shakes? I don't start the all liquid diet until Nov 28th, but was wondering if I should start getting used to the Protein Shakes by substituting one meal a day with the Protein shake?

Well my appointment went well yesterday dr said that i will be,sleeved in december since i have no,monthly weight checks! I am so excited my last,preop testing is december 2nd! Should be,done around christmas ! Doctor Bono and his staff are all amazing to work with very accommodating seeing how i live 1.5 hrs from there office.

My preop liquid diet begins the Monday before Thanksgiving--guess I'll be having my powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken Soup that day which isn't a problem since hubby and I rarely have a traditional Thanksgiving meal. My remaining pre-op appts. are all scheduled the last couple of weeks of November. Thought I was done with all the appts. until I got the call last week that I'd been approved. It's all starting to seem more real now that I have a date.
