Hi,
I had the lap band surgery about 7 years ago. I went into it knowing that it was a 'tool' to help. I didn't use it properly. My starting weight was 353. I lost maaaybe 45 pounds and then quickly gained it back.

After arm wrestling with my insurance company for the past year I have finally been approved for Gastric Bypass. I am beyond excited. I'm actually scared. I'm not afraid of the surgery or the pain; I'm afraid that I'm going to fail with this as well.

I want this so bad. I'm sure everyone can relate.

Dr. Thien Nguyen is my surgeon. My surgery date is March 12th.
My doctor and all of his staff really went to bat for me in dealing with my insurance. I appreciate them so much. I don't want to let them down either.

Is this normal pre surgery jitters?

I'm normally not such a downer I promise.
