Hello everyone! My name is Rene Gary. I am married to my soulmate Jo Ann and have three sons; Brandon, Gavin and Matt. I also have a beautiful granddaughter Laycee. I am a EHS Safety Analyst at Timken Boring Specialties in Houston, Texas. I love the great outdoors. My passions include boating, fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. When people ask why I ride, I tell them for the same reason your dog sticks his head out the window of the car when you are driving. Nuff said. Oh yea, and spending time with my granddaughter is a given. She's two and is already hooked on boating and fishing.

I just scheduled my sleeve surgery yesterday. I'm about 95% excited and 5% nervous. My goal is to lose 75 pounds and to improve my overall health and lifestyle. I joined this forum to no only share my experience, but to gain a better understanding of the obstacles and challenges others have experienced, associated with this life-changing event.
