I went through a horrible time in my life that took it's toll on my weaknesses. My (now ex-husband) had left me for a man, I had cervical cancer, which I successfully beat and all of that with the comobination of a very unhappy job situation I ballooned up to 260lbs. I tried and tried and finally got to doctor Neal after I could only get down to about 235. I did not have insurance at the time that would cover the procedure nor the credit to do it by myself but my dad, as a gift, co-signed so that I could get the procedure. He made a contract with me to invest in getting me healthy again. I dropped about 20 pounds after my surgery and was pregnant with my son, which I only gained 7 pounds for an 8 pound boy. No complications and I actually left my band filled during which is not a normal thing to do but I was fine and kept Dr. Neal informed. After having my boy, I waxed and wained until I finally found the sweet spot of filling and dropped all the way down to 159 lbs so far. The band theory is to " learn it, live it, love it" and that is the way I live my life. Crystal
