  4. I have to admit that I have cheated as well. I made pea soup the other day and it had little chunks of ham in in. I chewed everything up extremely well before swallowing and had no problems digesting it. I am two weeks post op and I eel like I can eat anything. I know that I still have to stay on liquids another week but I am concerned that if I was able to digest ham at this point, I will be able to eat just about anything. I have to get my head in check to make sure I stick to a balanced diet.
  5. Hello fellow banders: I just had my band installed on 8/13/07. I'm curious as to why we have to be on liquids for 3 weeks. I was recently in a situation where I had been out of the house all day at a function and didn't have any of my Protein liquids with me. I opted to have a few tablespoons of tuna fish at that point, just to get something in my system. I had no problem digesting it. So why do I have to be on liquids if I can tolerate food? :help:
