Congrats! My baby is 7 weeks old. I never got an unfill and still gained a lot of weight. My doctor suggested a unfill only if I was getting morning sickness. Plus my weight gain is my own fault, I ate what I wanted and I am currently working on getting back on track now. Good luck and I am so happy for you.

I am 14 weeks pregnant and I have gained 10 lbs so far. I had restriction but not to much so my doctor advise not to touch the band. I am upset with 10 lbs cause I gained 7 the whole time I was pregnant with my first. Good luck to you! -

Congrats by the way! I am currently almost 10 weeks pregnant and I have only had the band for 6 months. Before I knew I was pregnant I didn't know what was wrong because my band was so tight. Mine usually got tight before I started each month and figured that was it. My lapband doctor said everything was fine for me, and to stay the way I am unless I am vomiting. Since you mentioned you get sick you might want to make an appointment with you lapband doctor and go from there. To help me get my nutrients I drink a V8 everyday. Good luck so I am not much help.

Would you have WLS again? What kind?

I would do it again in a heart beat. It has been over 7 years since I been in the 100's. If it wasn't for the band I would still be sitting in the 200's. Love my band! -

Starting 5:2 and no scale this week
chrissy10 replied to JustWatchMe's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I am going to start this as well. Since I am coming in late this week. I am doing it today, and then start on Monday again. So Monday and Wednesdays will be my days. The hard part will be no coffee for me in the morning on those days. I have been stuck at the same weight for around over month now and need something to kick start me. Good luck to everyone. -
I agree Quest bars! I get them when they are on sale at GNC also.

I use myfitness pal you can add me for support, Chris10_9817 is my user name. You can go in and change your goals, my sister did that for me. I use it daily. Good luck to you and welcome to the banded world! -
My doctor suggested pre-natal and that is what I take. I get the chew able ones as well. I did get the bariatric lapband ones at first but they started making me sick. Good luck to you and your journey.

Anyone experiencing hair loss?
chrissy10 replied to wonderpooh2u's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was banded in March and started losing hair in May and June. I started taking Biotin and I use the shampoo Nioxin. My hair is coming back and I also cut it shorter. So do not stress some say it is Protein intake, but I have always kept mine protein high and I still lost hair.
