Hello, I'm a 43 year old mother of 19 yr old twins. I've struggled with my weight as long as I can remember. My best friend had wls ten years ago but I've always been too scared. Well around 8 months ago something just clicked, I made an appointment with my surgeon and haven't looked back or even had second thoughts. My husband is being very supportive and completely overwhelmed at the same time, I think he's afraid he's going to be starved. My son keeps asking why, and my daughter is like a rock and keeps saying I'm going to have so much energy for grand kids (someday).

I am a patient care tech at a dialysis unit and see what obesity and hypertension can do to a person, I'm not letting that happen to me!
