My name is Sheri46, I am planning on having the gastric sleeve done soon and I'm a little nervous about it. I got this address from my Dr. Ben-mier .I am 5' 2" Weigh in at about 245 now am 68 yrs. old in a lot of pain due to arthritis and having to have many joint surgeries. I'm hoping this surgery will help me loose enough weight to help my joints and loose some of the pain I'm in. I have tried many diets and just keep loosing and gaining more back. They say I have to loose weight to have this surgery. I've lost maybe 6 lbs. in a month. Will I be able to get the surgery or should I, that is my question to start and have many more to ask.
