Glad to hear that you guys are preparing for loose skin surgery, however I am not ready for that yet. As you know I started out at 459lbs and I am now at 288lbs so I still have a lot to loose before I decide to have surgery. My doctor wants me to come back in September and see if I am ready then. Hopefully I can lose at least another 30 or so pounds by then before I make a decision but we will see. My husband wants to have another baby and I told him, I would think about it when I reach 220lbs so I have a lot to consider

I cant wait to kick these last 18 pounds so I can say good bye to the 300's. So congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I finally broke this stall I weighed in yesterday (on home scale) and I am 331.2lbs...yaay. My next doctor's appt is on August 27th so I will find out for sure what my exact weight is, so hopefully I can lose at least 1.2lbs by then...lol

Thanks I surely hope so. I guess I was hoping to lose more than what I have. I was wanting to be at 300lbs or less by now.

Hellooo...Everyone is doing so well congratulations!!! I am now 6 months post op and I am at a stall and I have been for a while now and I am not sure how to drop more weight, I know I am still losing inches because I can see the difference in my clothing, but I am getting a little concerned its been over 2 weeks since I have lost anything. Did either of you have to come home with a drain

I had my surgery Tuesday and came home Wednesday. Everything went great, but I came home with a drain and I can't stand it. How are you feeling

I am loving all the responses and I am ready for the new me. Just to be able to cross my legs and sit still for a hour without tossing and repositioning myself and being able to run around with my children, oh my! I could go on and on about what I cant wait to do. Soon there will be no more wondering if the chair will be big enough and strong enough to hold me... My husband is going to be there with me and he is very supporting. He said if this is what you want to do I will help you as much as I can every step of the way. Just waiting to be set free.....

That's a good question I'm having my surgery on the 18th and I would like to know also.

I'm just curious about what everyone was thinking the day of surgery on the way to the hospital. I will have rny surgery on the 18th and I'm feeling a little worried. Thinking about my husband and my children and just wondering if this is the right choice. In the back of my mind I know I need this surgery, but it doesnt stop me from being nervous.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I will soon be on the losers bench my surgery is Feb 18 and I can't wait. I am feeling a little nervous but anxious.

Well I started this journey in at 480 and I am currently 459 my surgery date is 021814. I am currently on day 7 of my 2 week liquid diet and so far it hasn't been that bad. I want to wish every one good luck and to find out what type of exercise you are able to do so far.
