Hi I had mine 2/19/14. Welcome -
I'm like 6 lbs away from my 100lb birthday. But I've hit a stall it's been like 2weeks. I've up my excersise from 3 days a week to 7, I've added an extra protein shake to my diet. What else could I do?

I'm almost 4 months post op. Doing and feeling great but for some reason my bariatric shakes are giving me a tummy ache when I drink them. I don't want to give them up because it's such a great protein to take in. But the tummy aches are very uncomfortable. Is anyone else having this problem?

Has anyone tried cereal since surgery. I'm three months out and was wondering what to try.

I had got so sick and tired of my bariatric fusion drinks, but now that I'm almost 3 months out I can now add fruit. Today I added strawberries and OMG it was awesome. Before it was just a shake but with the added strawberries it was THE shake. Tomorrow I'm gonna try some bananas. I'm glad I can finally add something to it because no matter the flavor after a while they all taste the same.

Today marks 3 months I decided to make a life changing decision to have gastric bypass. As of today I'm down 88 pounds. I'm over whelmed with joy. I never thought I would be able to exercise or even get on rides with my daughter. This is one decision I do not regret. Any February surgeries Holla at me would love to here how you guys are doing!

Thank You.I drink my Protein shake in the morning. And I eat every two to three hours very very small meals of course. Yes I work out 3-4 times a week. This includes zumba, toning and over all cardio. -

I'm a little over a 2months out. Went to doctor for post op I was told that I wasn't taking in enough calories. So I've been trying to increase my caloric intake, but to my disappointment I haven't lost any weight this week. What the hell is going on?

Today makes two months that I decided to make a life changing decision. I'm now down 66.2lbs and I work out 3-4 times a week. I'm loving it.

First day at the gym. I did the elliptical for 15min. The treadmill for 30min. And I used about 4 toning machines for my thighs arms and stomach. Feeling pretty good. Not as soar as I thought I would be. Going again Friday.

Tomorrow will be 4 wks that I decided to change my life for the better. So far I've been doing great. I'm down 45lbs. And I'm tolerating new foods every week. I'm just a little nervous about going back to work and starting at the gym. Tomorrow I'm gonna be wiped out. But I know I can do it. No pain No gain........right.

4 week post op anniversary
Mrs.Harkness replied to Mrs.Harkness's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Thank you. Not quite regular but mushy like eggs fish shrimp soft veggies etc. Things that can be swolled easly when chewed correctly I only introduce one new food a week. My Co workers already knew what was going on with me they were part of my support system. I go back to work tomorrow. You're right that is your business but if your Co workers do ask I would just say I made some life changing decisions and change the subject -
Start at the gym tomorrow. My doctor told me to take it slow but he wasn't specific? Any pointers bariatric family?

I agree with DL. Trust me you'll be fine I'm 4wks post op and 45lbs down. I also had a stall but it doesn't last forever. I finally decided to have my husband hide the scale and I only weigh in once a week. Nothing more Nothing less. -
I haven't loss any weight this week. I'm only three weeks out. When I first got the procedure, I was dropping like a pound a day but this week nothing. I'm like so disappointed in me. I haven't changed my eating habits. Could this be it......

Me too Trevor.

Went for my first post op visit yesterday. (Surgery was on the 19th of feb) They removed my bandages and everything looks good. I'm down 38lbs and I can have soft pureed foods like eggs, and fish. I feel good. I go back to work in two more weeks. That's what I'm not looking forward too. Lol

Tried fish yesterday(salmon) and omg it was the worst choice I've made since surgery after a few bites I felt like I had just had a greasy hamburger and was full but then it seem like it was stuck in my throat and esophagus. I managed to drink a Lil water and went to bed woke up this morning and I still feel like somethings in my throat. I'm just gone stick with my cottage cheese, scrambled eggs and cream of wheat. I'm scared to try anything else. I don't like this feeling at all.
