  1. I wish someone would invent a protein pill... there's a pill for everything else, why not Protein?!!
  2. I had my surgery done by Dr. Rodriguez at Star Medica in Juarez. Absolutely Great Dr. and Staff and the facility was very clean!! Had my surgery in February and have had No problems (other then i can't get enough Protein in.) Would not hesitate to go there again. In fact husband is considering having the surgery done and if so will definately go back!
  3. I am 3 months post op and so far i have lost a total of 61 pounds (please while reading this keep in mind i had to go thru with the pre op diet twice because of rescheduling) at any rate. I feel a lot better then i did 3 months ago as i'm sure most of you did, however i just keep thinking the numbers should be lower then what they are... I know we all lose at differrent rates and diets and excercise varies for everyone. Here is my thing, I walk 2-3 miles a day and have recently started jogging some of that not a lot but some. I do cardio excercises 3x/week, weights training (just sculpting weights) 5x/week, and I ride bike. I do my very best to eat 3 meals a day, and i constantly struggle with over eating which is getting better, but it's hard to tell when you're full when you weren't hungry to start with. I think one of my biggest things there is because at the same time i had the surgery i quit smoking as well, so i think i'm still trying to fill a little void there as well but over all feel i'm doing pretty good. HOWEVER, my biggest problem is getting in my protein. Yes i know this will help. I have tried many different kinds of Protein powders/drinks and have not found any that i can stomach to drink. Prior to surgery and for part of the liquid diet after i was able to drink the Atkins shakes, but i can't even drink those any longer, and i don't mean i just can't drink it, i mean i'm to the point that if i had to drink them i would just not eat at all... I have recently ordered some of the unjury unflavored in hopes that it is just the UNFLAVORED.. but i have my reservations there as well, but i really need to find a way to get my protein, so if anyone else is having this problem, and have found a solution Please, i'm begging you to share it. Thanks.
  4. I am about just a little over 4 weeks out of surgery and i too feel the same as you about losing the weight; However I will agree with what Bob2013 said, get your tape measure out, I think you will be suprised with your results, i know i was. I took measurements about 3 days after i had my surgery and just took them again the other day for the first time and i was pleasantly suprised dispite what the scale said.
  5. I am a no-no eater, i typically eat only when i'm hungry which usually consists of once a day. Since having the sleeve i never feel hungry enough to eat. I am scared of stretching my new stomach because I never know when i'm full until i'm over full, what am I doing wrong?

    The need to chew...

I feel exactly like you! I am two weeks post op and feel absolutely wonderful, and can't hardly wait to get moving more, but I am Very tired of the liquid stuff. I can have cottage cheese at this point, and i "Chew" it, but doesn't seem to help that feeling at all. I have 2 days to go before i can start my soft food stage for 2 weeks and my hands are itching to start Now! But i keep reminding myself that i've just been given a new start, and i certainly don't want to screw it up!. and to top that off, I quit smoking 2 weeks ago as well, so talk about climbing the walls by not being able to fill That void!! But again, a new start for a new me, and I very much want it to work!! Good luck, you can do it!

    Protein drinks

I am looking for a clear liquid protein drink that tastes good, right now I have Dymatize Nutrition ISO-100 Hydrolyzed it's 100 percent whey protein isolate and mixed with water but am not entirely sure it is considered a " clear protein" drink

    I ain't gonna lie

Can anyone suggest a clear liquid protein drink that tastes decent. Right now I have ISO -100 in a variety of flavor but am certain it would not be considered a clear protein drink
