Thank you VeronicaN! I like avocado, I'll have to check out the article, if it helps my girls, it's worth it. I also started taking liquid collagen w/biotin, hoping that also helps with skin tightening and hair loss. Thanks again :-)

I was told carbonation is bad, so once in a while I will have a sugar free lemonade mixed with a shot of vodka or something else. -
Sounds like you learned your lesson lol. You'll be ok, just get back on track :-)

first real meal after sleeve
millergirl314 replied to right for me?'s topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Start slow. For me it was and still is complete trial and error. I can eat a chicken drumstick from the BBQ but I can't handle a plain grilled burger. First thing I had was oven baked fish. -

Omaha tenderloin tips in a mushroom gravy sauce in one of my favorite "high protein" meals nowadays. And surprisingly 3 ounces is very satisfying. Ooo that sounds good! I miss steak and chops and found the only way I can tolerate those types of Protein is by crockpot :-) but I still make my hunny a killer ribeye! -

Sounds like something I would do. Don't put that unflavored protein in gravy either, it seperated. Lol. -

I ladies and gents, I've been trying to use more mashed cauliflower and wanted to make like a fritter or a pancake or ? Out of it and everything online says to use panko bread crumbs but I wanted to make it a low carb. I tried using coconut flour but that was a disaster lol. Anyone have an idea of what I could use or a good recipe for mashed cauliflower?

I love salty things now, before not so much. But the effect of salt in my body is different now too, I love it but I defiantly makes me retain water a lot, so I gotta go easy. I tried having a burger off my grill a week ago, bun less , and I couldn't stomach it. I was a little disappointed only because it's becoming harder to get my 80-100g of protein, check that source off the list for now lol. -
Jay Robb, $30 or so. Comes in powder, I get them from super supplements and they not your typical thick shake, they're light and easier to drink especially once sleeved :-)

Protein Shakes Problem! help!
millergirl314 replied to Erin414's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have two cases of premiere protein that I've been working in for six weeks. I know exactly what you mean with them. I really like the Jay Robb shakes, they're really thin and light tasting and they have a citrus/tropical one that's good:-) -

I'm with the others, go to the hospital. If that is the way your doctor makes you feel, tell him and if it gets uncomfortable for any reason, go see a different doctor. No doctor should make you feel like you're wasting their time. I hope you feel better soon :-) -
My NUT suggested that I have a protein drink or something with protein in it about 45 mind before gym time if I felt a little slow. Best thing for you would be talk to your doc and NUT :-)
