Sex.......and that annoying roll of flesh
millergirl314 replied to Artichokes's topic in The Gals' Room
Gosh I hate my belly roll. I wouldn't say anything at all. You prob wouldn't say anything to him right. Get naked in front of him and he'll see the whole package, as you will his. -
Yup don't wait. I had 4 attacks and then I went to the doctor. It was stupid of me to wait that long. Don't wait. I had to have emergency surgery on one day and then another surgery on the next day and I'm still taking medicine for a possible pancreatic infection. Like I said don't wait girl, it can be more dangerous than people realize. And no one needs to have that pain either.

Anyone have bile salt diarrhea before surgery (from gall bladder surgery)?
millergirl314 replied to ready2B's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Interesting read, thank you. I'm 6mos post op sleeve and had my gall bladder remove a week ago and wondered if the diarrhea will eventually go away, it may or may not, at least I don't have to deal with the gall bladder attacks anymore more, but my toosh is getting sore lol -
Thanks for refreshing the thread! Interesting, I had never heard of a bezoar or whatever it's called till now. I hardley ever eat coconut but I couldn't imagine not eating it ever again.

Thank you Jeanette I get to leave in a few hours so things are looking up. Just a bump in the road.

millergirl314 replied to eyoung's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums

Any Washington State Sleevers?
millergirl314 replied to eyoung's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I live more up north but can travel, I would love to meet up with other peeps in the area -
Just looking for a little encouragement from my fellow "losers" lol. I had my gall bladder removed a few hours ago but I have a bunch of stones stuck inside my biliary duct, I believe that's what they said. They're going to do some other endoscopic surgery later on to get the rest of the stones. Just feeling a little down as of late.

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
millergirl314 replied to honeyg317's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You ladies look amazing! I unfortunately had an ultrasound today for insane pain I've been having and the bottom of my gallbladder looks like it's covered with kitty litter! Gallstones. Just waiting for my doctors office to call to find out what next. On the more positive side I finally broke my stall and dropped 4 lbs in a week 204 baby almost in onederland! -
How has your husband/wife/SO fared during your WLS journey?
millergirl314 replied to MrsSugarbabe's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My hubby has been so supportive too, what a wonderful man I married I do most of the cooking so the family eat what mom cooks lol. I always make a protein I can have and then I make a great veggie choice for them. I used to make like a rice or a noodle side dish with it too but haven't don't that since before surgery 6mo ago. Nobody needs that stuff anyways. -
"I thought you did this yourself." ...?
millergirl314 replied to Mrs.RRn's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Some guy on my sister crew asked me how much i had lost and what I've been doing so I told him that I have been hitting the gym and really watching what I eat and I also had the sleeve surgery too. His response was "well if that makes you eat less, why don't you just eat less?" Gosh why didn't I think of that? Smh! -

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
millergirl314 replied to honeyg317's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thank you for responding and congrats on your 100# gone, that's great! I still don't feel good at work today. I'm going in for an ultrasound to check my gallbladder on Thursday. I've never had an episode last for that long and it scares me. It hurts so bad. I did have a piece of fried chicken last night for dinner, I removed most of the skin, maybe that's what did it. No more fried chicken for me, never really liked it that much anyways -
No soda for me either, I'm ok with it though

Any February 2014 Sleevers?

Ok this question is for anyone who has had a dumping. I have had it a few times now but it's been awhile, I am unable to pin point what is setting it off as each time it's happened it's been something different. Anywho, last night I ate about 6:30 pm or so and then at 8:30 I had a handful of popcorn, never had a prob with popcorn. It started at 11:15pm and woke me up. It didn't subside until 3ish. So my question is, has anyone else had the dumping syndrome for this length of time? -
Just beautiful! Someday I want a backyard like that

Btw the foodie site has lots of great ideas too

Yeah I'd like to think we're past any judging of others. I'm glad you believe that there is better stuff out there to eat but what I was saying was at that stage it was best for me to find something that would stay down, and that worked for me. And if there is chemicals in the soup I was obviously ok with it. I understand that what we put in our bodies is our choice, and while you believe it's chemical soup and that's your opinion, i rather liked it and respectfully disagree.

That cream of chemical stuff helped me in my liquid phase, there lots of other stuff that's worse for you than that. I can't stand it now but it helped a lot then!

Cold Summer Treats That Are Weight Loss Surgery Friendly
millergirl314 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
I make my own Popsicles by freezing my Syntrax nectar Protein drinks. I got silicone molds for freezing on Amazon. Frozen vanilla Protein powder mixed with OJ (or Water flavored with Mio tangerine drops) is a yummy dreamsicle. I also make "ice cream" with Muscle Milk cake batter protein powder, milk, plain Greek yogurt, Torani SF Gingerbread syrup and chopped nuts. And three words.... "Frozen pineapple chunks". Mmmmmmmm.... Omg your ice cream sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing -

Ugh you're so right. It's very hard to stay away from ice cream when it's 97 out everyday I've always been an addict and the Ben and Jerry's are a def no go tonight I will be freezing Greek yogurt as a dessert, with some fruit for me and I throw so granola in there for the hubs ( not me) he doesn't mind eating a lot of the same things as me thanks for the ideas... And reminder that there is a lot more frozen treats than ice cream out there -
It's happened to me 3 times now. Very painful. I can't seem to find a link between all 3 though so I can't avoid it happening again. I have a feeling it's sugar though. hate dumping
