For those of you who are choosing a surgeon based on costs alone....DON'T.
FYI, there are some doctors (yes, even in the good ole US of A) who are "advertising" that they are endorsed by different associations....VERIFY, VERIFY, VERIFY. I called to verify one of the surgeons in Florida who advertises for "cheap" cost. (Do your research and figure out who, I'm not wasting time on this forum since it is obvious a big percentage of the "users" are coordinators or people trying to sell you a surgeon like a used car!) When I called the AMA, laproscopic association, bariatric surgeons association, the doctor was not even in their database....Hmmm.....In fact, the laproscopic association that supposedly endorses this doctor THANKED me profusely for calling it to their attention.
Damn shame there are so many unscrupulous people.
Listen, bottom line...there are crooks everywhere and it is pathetic that they are crawling all over this website when people are desperate for help.
