I'm having the same thing! It's not so bad now 3 weeks out but it was awful in the beginning !!

Not sure ? I take omeperazole daily and the pain that I get before I throw up is a sharp stabbing under my left breast. I tried to walk it off or juggle the food down. Try to burp or even tried drinking to see if it would push the "stuck" out of the way. Then i cough and throw up and I'm totally fine. I swore it was something getting stuck but it happened with a shake the other day!! Doc had me do a barium swallow X-ray and everything went down fine and looks good.. Who knows !!??

I used the app and it helped !!! Sadly I'm still throwing up about a half hour after eating at least once a day. I have no signs of full until it's too late and I'm in pain then vomit eventually . I haven't had more then 2oz of anything and it doesn't happen all the time. I wish I could pinpoint what's causing it! Happens at least once a day on something I've previously eaten fine. Doc said just stay on liquids then.. But I'm stalled and really need some food I'm so tired and weak after almost a month of shakes

Sleeved 2/21 still on full liquids and an occasional puréed. Have had some vomiting issues but other than that okay! Not cleared for anything but walking still. Have lost 17 since surgery and 43 total. Could be more but I only weigh on Friday mornings! For some reason that's always the day I weigh the least lol

I just started having thicker foods and I'm having the 3 week stall ! Hope it passes quickly. I might try the beans this week mmmmm

I just had some hot and sour soup and it was heaven .. Only nibbled some of the tofu and a slice of mushroom but it was delish. My family was happy I am able to go to eat with them now . Can't wait to be on the soft foods stage and have more options , but happy to be on full liquids/puréed

I was just approved today I used my Medco prescription coverage and then they called and asked my health insurance info. I got the shakes and the scar cream and chewable vitamins!!

Yup I even spent the day in the hospital having tests and they found nothing wrong. He told me stick to just shakes for another week, even though I said shakes do it too not just yogurt and eggs and soup!!

I have the sleeve and I throw up a lot.. Sometimes it hurts like something is stuck (even if it's just a shake) and I vomit and everything is fine ..

Possibly just a stomach bug? I have no pains just on and off vomiting and diarrhea since about 2am. Managed to get some fluids and 1 and a half shakes in so far. 13 days out still on all shakes . I do have aunt flow pretty bad and maybe it's that??

I spent all day Friday at the hospital getting tests and Iv fluids. They found nothing wrong and sent me home nice and hydrated. Doc said if I'm feeling like I can't get in the fluids to just come back every few days for an Iv if needed. But I was able to drink okay on Saturday! Still diarrhea but no more vomit thankfully!! I was able to progress to stage 2 and have some yogurt and a scrambled egg over the weekend. Just had some puréed soup for dinner I'm so excited to "chew" again and not just drink from a cup

Called the docs this morning waiting for a call back! Still throwing up and this time there was brown flakes and I kinda freaked !! Haven't been able to take any of my pills or vitamins either I feel like crap!!

Be prepared just in case for a longer stay . I had little pain in the beginning but threw up for 4 days and that was so painful I ended up staying 5 days cause they wouldn't let me leave till I stopped vomiting and could drink and a shake!!

My doc had me taking large pills the day I left the hospital. All of my meds are in pill form except my vitamins though. Not sure if it's diff for vitamins to be in pill or crushed?

My doc or nut has never mentioned one!! I'm just curious what some average goal weights are for a large framed 5'6" woman? Also I would like to keep some meat on my bones so I was thinking 175? I have several friends that weight and height that I think look fantastic! Or does that seem too big? Ahhh I just don't know !!!!

Thanks ladies ! I definitely agree with the diff shaped bodies thing! I'm down 35lbs and have not had any change in clothing size yet but I fit into 26/28 ad have some 24 and even a 20 pants that fit ! I can't wait to feel and see a change in my size and then maybe I will have an idea of goal. I got down to 259 once as an adult and I didn't feel any smaller and still wore size 22 on average though and I would really like to get into non plus clothes !

Yes we are!! When I left the hospital my fav nurse said to make sure I send her bikini pics this summer and I was like I will send pics but no bikini No way haha

I wish I had a binder I feel like I have to walk around holding my insides in lol

April I'm sorry your having such a bad time! Your upbeat posts and great humor always made my day on here!! I hope things get better for you soon ! Maybe at your two week they can figure something out. My doc told me anytime I felt like I needed it to just come in for some Iv fluids. Maybe a little hydration boost would help you?

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! It will get better , I thought I was having a rough time but it's slowly improving. It will for you too and then you will remember why we did this

... It took four hours ...but I finally had a whole shake ! Had surgery 2/21 and was stuck in hospital for 5 days because of vomiting. This morning was first time I was able to finish a shake huge victory for me yay. Sipping still hurts me but I'm getting better at it , such a bad gurgling as it goes down and air comes back up . Can't wait for that to stop

Wwled I'm only 5 days out but having same issues I want to drink but when it do it hurts and my tummy spasms and then everything bubbles back up! I'm taking Prilosec and I was on zofran but they changed it to Reglan. I feel like a clogged drain!! I feel it go down then it sticks for a sec and then dribbles , tummy squeezes and then gurgles and bubbles come back up and sometimes get stuck in my chest and I can't burp it out Makes me not want to drink anything at all

I feel you! I been working on this shake since 1pm after about 3 sips I feel like it's bubbling back up and I can't drink anymore !! Water is doing same thing . I was able to eat my calcium chew though. My doc gave me all pill form meds which sucks I feel like they get stuck. I'm pretty miserable 5 days out too. Doc said I'm just going the slower route.. Yay me

After a rough 5 days I think I'm going home today!!! Can't wait to be in my own bed this mattress sucks and my butt is sore lol
