I am one month out, down 25 lbs. I am eating puréed till next Friday. When I get home, I drink my water (that I started on way home) and would love a sip of wine on Friday. I know I can't right now, but has anyone tried to have a sip? Can we eventually? I LOVE blends (Shiraz/Zinfandel/cab) and never thought I couldn't ever have another sip...nothing taste as good as HEALTHY (thin) feels - or so they say

Is that normal? Had surgery 1/29 and used that "stick" in the bathroom. Twice now it showed trace amounts of Protien. Also, I was always on the hot side (temp wise), wearing tank top & underwear to bed in winter. Now, my hands are ALWAYS cold and I'm wearing heavy flannel pajamas. Haven't yet gotten to puréed foods. Can't wait. I know they say it's "head hunger" but I'm tired of "sweet" Protien drinks....

Thanks, Miss Mac. I may have to send the food network to the disposal. It's a deep love of cooking-I rarely ate a lot THEN, but I DO appreciate a good meal/restaurant

I've always LOVED to cook and cater. Still do. I'm 10 days post op, have to be on liquids till 2/21. Then puréed foods. Can't stop watching the food network, already cooked huge dinners for husband and kids, then kick myself for smelling, seeing, WANTING a taste. Am I insane?!? What the hell? I think I must've been dropped on my head during the surgery. Just venting...

I'm 8 days, other than pain after waking from anesthesia in post op? Nothing (knock wood) no gagging, vomiting, acid, gas or problems using bathroom! You'll be fine. Good luck

M getting ALL liquid in, all 3 protein drinks, even 2 tablespoons unsweetened apple sauce for crushed pill. 8 days post op-not really feeling "full" and when making dinner for family feel like I can eat! Will this go away?!?

I have the Mirena and haven't had a oeriod in almost 20 years. Took the depo provera shot for 10 (which was wrong of dr. Only supposed to be 1-2 years) then Mirena, now in 2nd Mirena though menopausal - hope the sleeve doesn't change that. Will let you know

Leo0704-had surgery Wednesday 1/29. Little brother came to hospital and kept repeating "I can't believe you did this BEFORE the Super Bowl!" I'm a buffalo wing ADDICT. I smell them, saw them all over TV, etc...I know I can't eat them...and if I drink too much I feel it-I guess it's just auto pilot? Weird-it must be the "head hunger" I've read about
