Hello All, I would like to stay connected as well. Surgery date is 9/17/14. While very nervous, I am also excited and ready for my new life to begin. My Doc has not pt me on a liquid diet before, hummm. My friend said she only had to do a liquid diet a day before. I guess each Doctor is different. God luck everyone, Let's stay connected! I'm in San Francisco area. -
Hi all, I've been up and down and changed my mind several times and I've finally surrendered to having the gastric sleeve surgery. I no longer feel scared or hesitant. I feel excited and I can't wait to have a new me. I realize this is not a solution to my weight problem but it is however a life tool. I so appreciate any support or words of advise especially with the vitamins which are dreaming me out. Thank you everyone.

I all, very nervous my surgery is in a few days. I have been debating this surgery for 5 years. I want to do this whole process the right way. I'm giving this surgery to myself for my 54th Birthday. I'm really scared . I have never gone on a liquid diet ever. I look forward to food. The unknown scares me but, I am ready to start living.
