I am south jersey too. Had to change dr.'s due to insurance... I am now seeing Dr. medvetz in Willingboro at Lourdes Hospital. -

Okay, I have an appt with a different dr on feb 19. I can still keep my cardia and pulmonary appts and have it all transferred over. Wish me luck! -

For those who have been sleeved already, how much have you lost so far? Any regrets? Any tips to help me? Maybe something you wish you had known before surgery. Thanks in advance!

I had my upper gi today and seriously wanted to die. 2 giant cups of a paste like substance. Ugh nauseous just thinking about it! All I thought about was how much better I'll feel after the surgery. That's what got me through. Had an abdominal us and chest X-ray too. Those were the easy ones. Cardiac dr. next Monday then pulmonologist. Definitely getting there!

I have a friend who had hers done in dec and had to have an EKG and blood work. That's it! She's kind of surprised by what I need to go through.

Btw the radiologist also said that he didn't see any massive abnormalities. Um..... Are the any abnormalities??? Yikes. He's got me worried!

I am hoping to have mine done during spring break since I'm a nursing student. Going for my chest X-ray, abd. Us and upper GI on Monday.
