Nearly 20 days post op ( can't believe it's been that long!) I've been keeping up semi regular posts on Instagram, if anyone would like to follow, feel free just comment on a picture with BP so I know to follow back! Instagram- wwled Also, anyone else 22 and sleeved?

My period was never very regular before surgery, but it been 3 months and I'm down 45. I would have thought I would at least get one period by now? Anyone have any ideas or words if wisdom?

Guess I worried for nothing! Guess what showed up bright and early this morning, haha!

just requested you!

I used to be on birth control to regulate them. When on it, they were always regular, once a month. Without it, I was lucky if I had two periods a year. I'll have to get back on it. I no longer have insurance, so seeing my old OB will be a bank breaker :/

I put up so many "fat" or bad pictures. It's easy now because I know I will never be there again. Hell, even my Facebook has full body shots now.

I just realized I wrote 77 weeks. Lol. It's only been seven weeks!

are you excited? Do you have Instagram?

I work full time, and find it hard to not only eat 3 meals a day, but since I work at a pizza place, I find myself eating nothing but pizza for days on end. I'm not usually hungry, but I need some ideas for quick, easy, and healthy meals. My restriction is still there, I can only eat a cup of food or so at a time. Any ideas? Ps, I'm not a big fan of meat; it upsets my new tummy

I'll definitely try all of these. Chicken fingers tend to make me sick, as well as fish that has breaking on it. Even if I put it in the oven the breading is way too much.

I'm still losing, but it's stopped dropping as quickly as before. I noticed though, the more I eat a day, the more I lose. I know that sounds weird haha I'll definitely try that I need to meet my protein and I know eggs are a good way to do it, thanks for the suggestion

Down about 40, hit a stall, feeling slightly discouraged. Tried on the clothes I wore to the hospital day of surgery, and WOW. Picture on the left I'm wearing the exact same clothes I wore to hospital, size 2X shirt and pants, on the right are my new size medium shirt and pants. I think I'm losing inches faster than weight.

Sorry this may be graphic, but lately I have such a problem with milk! It upsets my stomach SO much to the point of nausea, and then I have to run to the bathroom pinching my butt cheeks. I was slightly lactose intolerant pre/op but nothing this severe. Now, even something with a little bit of milk in it will make me sick. It doesn't last too long, the nausea subsides within 30 minutes or so, and the pooping stops once everything is out of my sleeve. Anyone else have an issue with this? I'm 2 months post op, by the way.

sorry, I missed this! I think a lot of the first pic was swelling, but there's definitely a noticeable difference. Especially with the way clothes fit!

I am 2 days post-op is it okay to swallow small Tylenol?
wwled replied to rodeomom969's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My pain medicine was actually given to me in a pill form. I was given IV pain meds when in the hospital day 1 and 2, but when I was at home, I was prescribed norco in a pill form, as well as zofran. I had no issue with it, besides the nausea that came from swallowing Enough water to wash the pill down. Try plugging your nose when you take your pain medicine, keep your nose plugged after you swallow, then immediately suck on a Popsicle. -
Hear me out. I switched to sleeve recently, had lapband for 4 years. Occasionally when I eat, I get the same "stuck" feeling. This is followed by increased saliva. Today, I had this feeling and had to throw up. First came a white frothy saliva thing. Then out came what looked like literally a bag of mucous. Not sure if anyone has experienced this.

The end result is definitely worth it. In my near 77 week journey, I've lost 35, two pant sizes, and two shirt sizes.

the pain isn't bad at all. Mostly it was being sore for a week or so. I ended up with horrible bruising, but I believe had I not had that, I would have been fine after the first week. I had a reaction to the pain meds in the hospital which caused me to vomit everytime I received it. My biggest issue was nausea post op. I had to take zofran daily until last week.

You guys will love it! Now that I'm past the hardest weeks, it's so nice seeing those numbers drop! It's not even the weightloss, I feel so much better in general. Walking is so much easier. I don't feel as weighed down as I did before, and the loose clothing is refreshing!

I know this sounds crazy, but try monistat. Get a tube, dilute it with water, put in a spray bottle and use like you would leave in conditioner. Works wonders!

The weird thing is, it didn't even feel like that much food. But maybe my eyes were bigger.

I'm 6 weeks out. On regular food. I was at work and only had a few minutes to eat during break, so I probably wasn't chewing as well as I should. I've also been sick and had a lot of drainage in the back of my throat (sorry that's gross.)

I have stayed away from all alcohol since my surgery, but naturally as I'm irish and it was St Pattys day...let's just say after half a glass of wine I was buzzed. After two glasses, I was embarrassingly trashed. Granted, it was 12.5% but still. I ended up having to force myself to throw up, and it was not pleasant. Anyone else drink since their new tummy? Bad experiences?
