As I approached a year after my sleeve, I met goal at 6 months out, my old habits DID start to come back! However, the last week I've been back on track and I'm still dumping or everything good or bad just goes straight through me.....LITERALLY every day, every thing. I've gained 5 lbs and it's not coming back off easy at all. I'm afraid I've gone too far, I'm not sure how to stop this from happening. Anyone experience this? Any suggestions?

Found out my acid reflux medicating causes chronic diarrhea, I stopped taking it and my dumping signs ended.

I feel so bad....one of my best friends who I encouraged and supported to have the sleeve went 3 days ago.....she was in so much pain afterwards and finally, they went in only to find, her small intestines had been nicked during surgery. From what I understand, they cleaned it ALL out, fixed the nicks and she's now on antibiotics. She's feeling a little better, but definitely still in pain. Please someone encourage me so I can encourage her!!! I don't want to hear any horror stories, only positive outcomes with the same scenarios. Please, I feel terrible right now!!!

You're doing great "Jen-awork in progress"!!! I started at the exact same weight and I'm the same height. I had my surgery on 2/5/14. My goal was 170, I hit 165 by September which was 6 months out! Now I really don't want to lose anymore, I've slowed my work out down a lot, hopefully that will work! You can lose fast if you're doing everything your supposed to!

Hello All! Just wanted to share my story: I got my band removed and converted to the sleeve on 2-5-14. Pre-op weight on 1-22-14 was 247, the date of my surgery (2 weeks later) was 235 ↓12lbs. Today I'm 192 ↓43lbs and feeling great for a whopping total of 55lbs down in 16 weeks! My goal weight is 160. I'm following the rules for the most part and work out at last 3x a week! I still have anxiety about not reaching my goal or gaining weight back over the years but I'm really trying not to think about that, and to make healthy choices for life and enjoy where I am right now! Acid reflux is apart of my life now but as long as I take my meds it's controlled and doesn't bother me at all! I'm loving the new me and because of how I carry my weight, people can't believe what I weigh, I'm hearing I look alot smaller! Sooooo..... ultimately switching from the band was a great choice so far! #winning

Thanks Diva519!!! You will, don't take in any negativity only positive thoughts!

I was revised on 2-5-14 and I've lost 43 lbs since then. The last 3 weeks the scale hasn't moved but I'm sure I'm either gaining muscle or at a stall. I'm determined not to worry and I'm determined to be successful! Could some other revision patients please share your success stories because reading all the doom and gloom & failure stories is really discouraging right now!!! Please and Thank You!

Nervous: dry heaved brown dry blood
cangudz replied to cangudz's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello All!!!! Just talked to Dr. Nunn he said it's probably still left over from the surgery & what I did last night shouldn't have anything to do with it! I'm to keep watching for it and record it! Thank you ALL! I feel relieved!!!!!! -
I'm 3 1/2 weeks post OP. For the most part doing pretty well with am exception of fatigue. I decided to go out to Whitley Ball for my hubby's bday last night. I got hit pretty hard and slammed into the guardrails a few times. This morning I dry heaved and that dry brown blood came up like it did right after surgery in the hospital. I understand it was normal then but should I be concerned now?

Thank God for these forums or I'd lose it!! I'm 3 weeks post op as of yesterday and I think I'm starting to scare my hubby for real. I find myself "acting" in front of him so he doesn't really know how I feel!!!! Of well!!!!
-
Its as if u wrote what wad in my heart and mind.....I just had this convo with my hubby last night and he did say..... he wouldn't know what to do without me he just wants me back to normal. He says I'm never Happy anymore I seem depressed and sad since the surgery so he's wondering if I did the right thing. Now I find myself trying to act upbeat around him do he won't feel bad. But I will say some days are better than others. I'm 2 weeks post OP tomorrow! We have to get through this..... it can't always be like this!

I literally feel deep hunger pains every time I sip water and my shakes!!!! I was sleeved 2-5-14 please tell me this is going to stop and I'll start feeling satisfied instead of empty. All I feel now is regret wondering did I make the right decision?! #superfrustrated

cangudz posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok I'm only 1 week post OP and I'm going out with the couples from my church tomorrow night! I feel good, I want to go But, they don't know about my surgery at all and dinner well be served. #1 How will I explain why I'm sipping a shake instead of eating the dinner? #2 Should I bring something special for myself like my fav full liquid recipe so I won't feel too bad? Honest advice wanted....
