I have lost weight several times in my life but always seem to have gained it back. I really experienced the problems of having insatiable hunger. I never felt comfortable or at peace without a full stomach. Of course it became more and more of a problem then bigger my stomach got. If I did not full up the void I felt stress and and uneasiness. I am now 3 weeks post surgery and I have not felt hunger at all. It is usually satisified with 4 oz of protein shakes ... I will be completely off protein shakes in 4 days and then I am interested to see how much and how I will feel on some more normal food consumption. I am looking foward to being around 190lbs ... something well below 200lbs to give me that new upper barrier that I cant cross. I am lucky that I like to exercise so I think I can make it ... but a lifetime of missing on diets as nags me in the back of mind. But the sleeve appears to have been the right scratch for my itch ... hunger and large food consumption seems to be impossible for me right now. I hear about people that outpace their sleeve and stretch their stomach. I simply refuse to let that happen. I like the restriction and will focus on making sure that stays with me as long as humanely possible. Hope this helps someone out there ... I would do it again.
