No worries! I don't think anyone is truly prepared for it and everyone has that pre-op fear. You will be fine if you listen to your body and to you surgical team.

Put on your googles, your noseplugs and your arm floaties and just jump in the pool. This surgery will probably be the bravest thing you,ve ever done. If there was a baby crying in a fire, no doubt you would run in to save it's life. This time you have to save your own life. No one can take this surgery for you. You've come this far, you are on the edge of the pool, so come on in with the rest of us.. come on in - the water's fine!
