  1. Am a side sleeper because if I sleep on my back, I get numbness in my legs to the point it's painful (hard to describe). I keep reading that after surgery you can't sleep on your side. I am getting sleeved Tuesday and I need to know if there are any options on how to make this work.

Did they give you an amount of weight you had to lose before surgery? 10-15 lbs. So far I'm down five. Five to go and three days to do it??? I'm worried.

    5 days post of story

Your stomach was probably still swollen from the trauma of surgery. It wouldn't have healed enough for that kind of food yet.

  15. Is there such a thing? I've seen this new trend of Cronuts (sp?) in several places recently and I keep thinking I'll never get to have one. I still have to loose a few more pounds before my surgery in 9 days and I'm considering trying to find a place that sells them tomorrow do I can say I've had them at least once. It doesn't help that my hubby goes on and on about how good they are
  16. Same date here if all of my tests come back in time
  17. Really? I was told breads would be a big no no afterwards
  18. It's pure carbs. All bread. Won't be able to eat that after????
  19. Totally. We went to Red Lobster and I ordered gumbo so I could eat the broth only. No cheddar bay biscuits. Everyone was asking if I wasn't hungry.

    Really having doubts now

I had this exact same reaction yesterday when a friend's husband posted a pic of her. She is a little over a year out and the excess skin was sooo bad. Then someone took a pic of me at church this morning and I realized I can find ways to cover up all of that excess skin (until PS) but I can't hide this fat body.

    Help with Protein 'shots'

My NUT said to avoid them since their protein source is extremely poor and your body doesn't digest it so it basically is a waste of money and calories
