I'm new to Carrollton and been struggling with gaining weight in the past few months. I'm looking for a support group in the DFW area where I can go and be inspired. I'm also looking for a food addicts group as well. Someone help please!

Wow! This is powerful and this is exactly where I want to be. I am still trying to get to my green zone. I'm in the doctors office now about to get a fill.

I was banded in dec. 2010. I'm still a LONG way off. I had some dial action so they removed a lot of my fluid a month ago and put me on phentermine. I need some encouragement. I lost 90 LBS and gained 40 when they removed my saline. Do y'all still vomit? Are y'all in your green zone? I just started hardcore workouts.

I just went to a meeting last night in Hurst. I just started going what type of issues are you having??

Just went from 4.8cc to 4cc because of dilation. I really need some encouragement to stay on track. Consistent support groups and tips on eating right would be helpful

I have a 7.5 band. And I was eating and drinking at the size time, which just defeated the entire purpose. You are right. I need to start all the way over. I did pretty good yesterday. Now today I'm trying to do it again! Thanks!!!

We'll basically I fell off the wagon and started eating like a high school football player. Cokes, bread. Almost anything and everything I'm not supposed to eat. Now my pouch is dilated. The RN said that my pouch should be about the size of a thumb and now it's the size of three. So basically the nutritionist said, back to the basics. I guess I just need to encourage myself to eat right no matter what.

Well how did you lose so much? Even with the slip? I'm not sure I can't remember my band size. But I was at 7cc. That was miserable and I couldn't keep anything down. :-(

Mandy. My goodness how did you survive off if that little calories? What were you eating exactly. I've gained 40lbs because I went bizerk on what I was eating. I'm back to fluids and now trying to lose weight again. So what were you consuming?

OMG, I have been struggling. I'm eating way better and getting a lot of headaches. I think it's my body's way of re-adjusting to my new eating habits. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. I am also starting to juice again: 4 times a day 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8am 2 stalks of kale Handful of spinach Half a lemon A whole Granny Smith apple One cucumber A thumb part of ginger root All put in a juicer and consumed. Maybe you can try it.
