My friends call me Neet. I have been heavy all of my life. I can remember going on my first diet when I was about 5. Since then I have gained and lost hundreds perhaps thousands of pounds. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2011. I gained A LOT of weight with treatment, and I just was unable to get the weight off afterwards. In addition to that, I had no desire to put the effort in to lose weight, only to put it back on. I decided to have bariatric surgery, because I was willing to do the work, if I could have fighting chance of keeping it off. By the way, I will celebrate 3 years of being cancer free in May 2014. I am a Christian--not one of those nutty Wesboro Baptist folks, but my faith is very important to me. I love to laugh; I think I am very funny (of course that's subjective). Before cancer, I was very active--I walked three miles a day, I traveled a lot, and spent lots of time with friends. That is where I am headed back to!!!!
