I have Verizon.... They have an international calling plan that provides 1,000 minutes in Mexico... It's $15.00 for the month..... To use Internet just make sure you are using wi-if..... I have been to Tijuana 2 times in the past 9 months... Works out great! -
I just returned from Tijuana on Monday...... No issues what so ever! Felt perfectly safe....everyone is super nice and friendly....

I was sleeved Jan 29, 2014 by Dr Mario Almanza..... I am 5'2"....pre-surgery weight was 224..... Day of surgery 211...... Today 162......it has been a slow process..... But super happy with the results! 30 lbs to goal! -

I was sleeved in Mexico due to my insurance in the US would not cover WLS..... I used Dr Mario Almanza.... He was with Hospital Jerusalem.... He has apparently gone on his own now.... If you google his name he now has his own website.... Both myself and another friend used him...... I had a text book recovery with no complications whatsoever..... I went in January 2014 and my cost was $4500.......this was in Tijuana Mexico......

I was sleeved Jan 28th..... SW 220 CW 192..... 28 pounds so far! Had the dreaded 3 week stall that lasted 2 weeks! Walking 2 miles a day.... 64 oz of water most every day.... Concentrating on at least 60 grams of protein daily. I drink 1 protein shake for breakfast that gets my day started with 30 grams of protein right off the get go! Greek yogurt.... Cottage cheese.... Grilled chicken breast... Seafood and refried beans are my staple food right now. Eating is a bit over-rated right now... Still have the feeling a bus is parked in my chest after eating! Congrats to all on your journeys!
